AFI at their best, fucking untouchable back in those days! Perfect sing along hardcore energy with dark and poetic lyrics!
It's sad that I'll never get to experience an afi show like this. It's also sad that no bands are coming out now that exude this quintessence
Makes me truly sad too. This was such a perfect sound that existed in a small pocket of time in my youth, and it feels like it will never return.
You missed the best era ever afi was and will ever be. I cannot listen to anything passed STS. TO me it's all a sell out!!
Afi still is awesome.Their sound has evolved. I saw them play in Las Vegas at the Hardrock in 2017. They opened with Strength Through Wounding,and played a mix of old,and new material. I also met hunter. It was phenomenal
Holy shit this looks like a badass show!! I was in 4th grade when I started listening to AFI, roughly 2002-2003 ish.. I so wish I was older so that I could have gone to their shows back then.
Wow. I was at this show. I think I was 17. Great memories.
I was 22 and got to live in the golden years of AFI. I was very lucky, because they pulled a 180 and sold out.

2001 was a fucking amazing year for AFI
1995-2002 for me. saw them for first time in vets hall basement in 96/97 and possibly in 95/96 at the redroom(way before planet fresh). fuck I'm old. lmao

was that the year they had 2 shows back to back days?? so long ago can't remember. Palookaville ruled...saw so many shows there.
I was wondering if this was a back to back shows, because I went but I'm not sure if this is the show or not as some of it seems familiar and some of it doesn't, but it was nearly 20 years ago so it's hard to remember, plus we were all kinda drunk, but I did some stage diving and am not in this video (though it's only part of the concert).
@@wileyschmitt I think it was back to back shows (different days). And if memory serves me well, then it was in '99 because I went to a show one day (first day) and my sister went to the other show(second day).
