I got back to journaling at the start of the year so I wanted to share the system I've been using for planning & memory keeping in hope it's helpful to some people!

FAQs
What camera do you use? I use an Olympus E-M5 II with a 12-40mm lens
How long have you been painting for? Since late 2017, so about 5 years!
How can you paint with oils in a sketchbook? I prime my pages with 2-3 coats of gesso so the oil doesn't seep through + use Liquin as my medium, which speeds up the drying time by a lot (I can usually close my sketchbook within a couple days of painting)

I love Megan Rhiannon’s videos too. I also do a combo of physical and digital planning. I agree it is easy to lack accountability in a digital planner. I find it very easy to move tasks around, like you said. Or just avoid my planner altogether!

Yesss I did the same and ultimately there was just no point in continuing to use it (and also any excuse is a good excuse to write in a notebook and stick things in🙃🤷🏻‍♀️)

I watch someone who does this too and i love it! I have the same thing even the same sort of leather cover. I common place in a field notes and I journal in an insert like that and I use hobonichi. I have never had a system work this well! Its so shocking cause you do a similar thing to me where I plan my creative things on the side as well.

Also I think the rolling to dos list system you’re using is called Allistair method by bullet journal ppl.
