Ninja, it's not Japanese, it's Chinese. These Chinese/HK small indie studios are putting out some very competitive products and honestly it's great to see. For too long was the premium collectible market dominated by Japan while the US domestic market has all the cheaper, more mass market figures. These Chinese companies coming out with something in between while using their own IP has to set a fire under the asses of long-standing companies. Hopefully the competition improves all products.

I just picked up this "cat"😏...recently from Amazon for a Black Friday sale for $62.00 after discounts. Honestly I would've paid $125 bucks for him. Such an amazing ass figure. My copy of this guy just came in today and I am seriously impressed. I was not prepared for the weapons case when I first opened it, I literally sat there with my jaw hanging open. He's simply incredible. It IS possible to pop his torso off and remove the robes/belts/etc. and have him with just the pants and that does increase his articulation there, but even without that extra articulation he's impressive. Definitely a new favorite.
Sheesh, man, his weapons case and the xihexi type hat was the highlight of this figure, but then when you brought the detail of the action figure as a whole, it was an absolute win; that's amazing how it also comes with its own comic book of his story! 🔥❤️🔥🔥 Thanks for this review; it will definitely be another addition to my collection; the pros hold more weight than cons with this figure.
This dude's sockets are crazy tight. I wasn't too crazy about having to use water or a blow dryer to heat up his legs and arms every time that I wanted to swap hands or switch feet, so i opened up the ports a bit with my drill. Everything is still nice and snug, but I can swap the parts at room temperature, which definitely improves playability.

Really cool figure! Cant believe they didn't add were beast parts so the cloaths could be swapped out to be a were-tiger like Veteran William. It would improve range of articulation and give a really cool were-besast. Perhaps they could do one in future or an exclusive?
I don't know if I needed a bare animal figure myself. I would have liked a more stripped down version, like, you can leave the pants and his shin guards on. I agree with leaving the boots off. Just doesn't look right. I can see this costing the same as William though if ONLY because of the more insane accessory count and the paint details and that sword case with the red insert. It balances it out for ME. I do agree though that I would have liked a roaring head. After William I promised myself I wouldn't get another of these but this review is making it DAMN hard for me to do.

Veterian was a man who turned into a werewolf, where Weing wasnt even human so that might explain full werewolf mode for Willians and not here. There is a white version on the samensite asbthebwhite woll but sadly he will habe the same accessories

There is also the exclusive white version on bombusbee. The croc didn't come with bare legs either. I don't think they need to do it. It was nice with veteran so we could get a regular werewolf, but it doesn't need to be the norm.
This reminds me of a video game. I think it was a Playstation game where you play as an anthro tiger. It was a 3d brawler. I can't remember the game's name.

Ninja....thank you brother for shelling out the bones to get this guy early so you could get this review out.....Ive had this guy on pre-order ever since I got my Crocker in hand.....yea Furay is kill'n it with this line no doubt....I love the details the sculpt....the paint...etc. I missed out on William gonna try to pick him up when I can but man I cannot wait to get my hands on this guy.....lack of articulation is the one thing I was worried about with this line a lot of times when you get this level of finish out of figure especially from a smaller company the articulation is comprised and the money gets spent on sculpt or accessories or paint that is not the case with these guys or doesn't seem to be. Now with Crocker everything is solid I haven't been worried about breaking anything as I screw around with him what is Weng like in that area is there anything that has you worried when it comes to accessories or changing parts around or is this guy solid enough that it doesn't feel like disarming a bomb you sweating it out concentrating so as not to break anything??? Okay, so as a follow up to my previous comment, I literally just got this guy for Christmas and DAAAAAAMN...he nice! I found that you CAN remove his belt...robe thingie as well as the shin guards after all. There's a full set of painted legs with stripes and all under those. That means you can have him just rocking some pants, so not a full feral mode, but real close. I also found out that he has more articulation in his hips as both of the barbell joints on his hips are able to be extended out or pushed in further which can effect how close his legs can be placed for poses. It's nuts as you almost can't do much with them until you take his waist armor off. I still agree that there needed to be a roaring head for sure. I am glad for the neutral head though as I feel that was something William needed. Are you planning on getting any of the soft goods upgrade sets for William or Master Weng to review? I'm really considering the set for Master Weng.

The lower robe piece is removable to get more articulation because it did restrict but without this figure is one of the most articulated figure even in the legs.. I think i might get him some soft goods

I am chomping at the bit for Big Bad to get these guys! I have had them preordered when they went up. I totally agree about the screaming head. Also you should check out the Mr. G figure from Memory Toys, I think he will fit in with these guys.

The lower robe piece is removable to get more articulation because it did restrict but without this figure is one of the most articulated figure even in the legs.. I think i might get him some soft goods
I don’t think the character is based off a Samurai. The outfit, accs, etc are Chinese. Especially his swords; they’re Daodao.
You could use you're phone Google Lens to translate on the comic book. I use that feature to translate Spanish to English lol awesome review 🔥🔥🔥

Thank you for such insane detailed review! I have all 3 of them from Furay Planet. The details are insane for the price! And for us in Asia. It's much cheaper than US too. Only cost me $70-80 only! Insane not to get them!
i just saw it's possible to take off the skirt, if you heat um up and pop off the top body.
This series looks like it would be pretty amazing side by side with Thundercats world or something. 3rd Earth/New Thundera.
Have you removed the belt since the review? I’ve seen it without the belt and he has lots of leg movement.
