Heard of people changing the Thruxton 900 gearing to get more torque, awesome to hear you can tone it down with the right gears and also improve your MPGs! The thought of accidentally popping wheelies is a little terrifying.
Funny I added 30 horsepower to my Thruxton 900 to match the stock horsepower from my 1200 Thruxton R. The 900 was pretty tame in the quarter mile but really fast 140 mph. The Thruxton R was a beast in the quarter mile but pretty tame at the top end although I finally got it to go 151 mph.
Great motorbike, and a great ride out. Love the custom Flat Cap racer exhausts. Anyone purchasing this bike is a very lucky person. Cheers
