It looks like an intriguing series, especially Breath of the Wild which somehow won game of the year over Horizon Zero Dawn in 2017. One day, I might have to get a Ninendo again.
Did anyone else's 8 year old son start crying overhearing mommy's podcast saying the Ninja Turtles aren't real or are you wearing headphones like a good parent?
My presumption about these quizzes is that if there are four possible responses on every question, there's exactly four possible outcomes. Which is the stupidest way of doing it, and probably the reason I haven't done anything like this (outside of ACTUAL psych quizzes) since middle school.
Most internet quizzes I've ever seen are this level of quality at best. Mostly meaningless clickbait to get you to view lots of ads or answer questions / give them more tracking info about you.
That’s awesome! Good luck! I’m almost done with The Way of Kings and it’s just so good. Only really been getting into reading recently and I have to say it’s just great. He’s honestly making me want to write as well haha 😂

You are Cloud Strife! You're a person of few words, but when you speak, you mean what you say! You may not appear to be the most caring or empathetic individual, but when loved ones face trouble, you are always there to lend a hand. The past may be hard to face sometimes, but if you keep your cherished ones close, the darkness can't touch you.
Brandon I've just found you're books within the last three years and I just gotta say man. My God you are skillful. Mistborn would make a terrific video game. Or at least a game based in the world. Not with the same story
I think the best way to do a quiz like this would be to take a quick Myers-Briggs personally types quiz, and assign a character to each of the 16 types. A four personality type quiz is just far too few, also a really strange selection of characters.
And Civilization a puzzle game Though to be fair, a lot of adventure games that follow the Telltale template tend to be more like VNs than adventure games like Monkey Island or King's Quest.
So, I'm watching this video after the revelation of the secret projects has come out. I don't know how you kept from laughing maniacally when the "accidentally wrote a novel" part of this conversation happened. Considering what you would reveal to us all just a couple months later. That must have taken a Herculean effort of willpower. 😂
A twelve question quiz with four options has 16,777,216 possible permutations, so it's probably not realistic to expect different possible results for each particular set of answers, especially given I'm not sure that there *are* sixteen million video game characters in total. Certainly not ones with meaningful personalities.
I got Cloud Strife as well. Might be more applicable to me than Brandon though I smile more than Cloud does. Love both your books and I look forward to this podcast every week. Thanks for always making me laugh. All the best, Patrick from New Zealand
“I also have been cranking 4000 words a day. Witch for me is a lot.” Brandon, who knows that for him those are rookie numbers but wants to be supportive of his friend: “That is a incredible amount.”
I was shocked to hear Brandon say, fairly recently, that he actually often only gets like 2,000-3,000 words in a day. A REALLY good day for him is like 5-6k. He just has his system down so we'll it feels like he must be writing more than that.
I took the quiz along with them and answered differently in most cases, yet also got Cloud... being an open person with possibly too much empathy who loves talking, I must say it felt very strange to get that description! It was fun to listen to the tidbits around the answers though so I felt like taking quizzes makes for good episodes, even if the results are off.
These question was pretty difficult, because I either end up with none that apply or many that apply. For the first one, what I actually do in stressful situations is do the stressful thing and grumble like a little baby the whole time, so I picked burst out.

I wonder if Brandon listens to Blind Guardian. I mean, he listens to metal and likes "epic soundtracks", so… That would made my day, for whatever reason.
I believe it can be champing or chomping. I would refer you to one of Seth Meyers “Corrections” web series, he did the research on it. I really couldn’t say which one, just watch them all, worth it.
I'd be interested in more personality quizzes in the future, but only if they're vetted tbh. This quiz had only four character options after all those questions? Come on.
How dare you misrepresent champing, Dan?! As an aquestrian-enthusiast, I know a good champing description when I hear one, and you sir, have missed the mark! Good day!!!
