I made a DeepSeek Web UI for running locally. Here's how it went.

So I hopped on the DeepSeek hype train to see what it was all about. I ran it locally to see if it could be a good addition to my work flow. I like it, but I hated running it in PowerShell, and Docker was acting stupid, so I made my own Web UI to be able to chat, have memory, and organize my chats/projects. I decided to share a bit of my testing and the code too so that you can play around.
