My favorite bands apart from the HU would have to be: 1. Above, Below - Australian metalcore 2. 156/Silence - Hardcore/Metalcore 3. Holy Fawn - Shoegaze/grunge 4. WAYSIDE (Aus) - Indie/Alt. rock 5. Whale Bones - Indie
mongolian here. towards the end u can hear them chant "Har Ayanga" multiple times. it means "black thunder" in mongolian. so basically they snuck in some mongolian words in this song that was meant to be set in a fictional world of star wars, basically making the mongolian language canon in star wars
I saw the Hu in Sept 2021. What no one comments on is the percussion. The drummer and the kettle drum guy create a sound like multiple cannons firing at once. I thought I’d have a heart attack! Love them all. Can’t wait for a second show.
When I first heard this song in the game I was blown away. It's absolutely incredible. It sounds like something you'd hear in star wars but at the same time it's so new
I thought it was really cool, I think they are actually singing in a star wars language. It's just super close to Mongolian I believe to make it easier on them
@@BESSCsamich I think I read somewhere that this is actually a cover of another of their songs (I think “Black Thunder?”) in a language that they made up for this
It’s one of my favorite video games, the song is iconic for the game hopefully in the next game the use another Hu song. They made it seem like it was a popular music too since it was also in the arena and Cal says something about loving this song.
I saw them live in Toronto in 2019 with my wife and had an opportunity to meet the band to get the pics taken and we were to literally front stage center and could reach out and just touch the band if we really wanted to we are that close and the energy of the show was just epic and the band are some seriously cool dudes
When they play this song during their live shows, they sing the original Mongolian lyrics they wrote for it before it was translated for the game. The original version is called "Black Thunder", and I believe they said an official studio track of it was on the way.
A segment of the song is first heard in the opening scenes of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It was created by Mongolian band The Hu and performed in an original Star Wars language specifically for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
when i first saw this, i thought how cool this had to be, a band from a whole nother culture playing a non-mainstream style of music, got to make music for a massive franchise like Star Wars. now looking back on this... i still think this is cool af. XD
As a die hard Queen fan, I dare say, that they are the next band that is so unique in their music, that it too will become timeless, just like Queen's did, and they will be getting new fans 60yrs from now, just like Queen still is....lol People are missing Freddie that weren't even born before Freddie died, and I think this band is going down the same path, people who didn't have the privilege to walk the earth the same time as this band like we are, will be craving more from them long after they are gone.
Welcome to the world of folk metal ... have a list of suggestions for this, in my opinion, underappreciated Genre Arkona-Russia ARKA'N-Togo Manntra-Croatia Metaklapa- Croatia (this one is weird even to me) Alien weaponry- New zealand (they sing in the Maori language) Bloodywood-India (Punjabi metal) Brkovi- Coatia (hey are punk metal and folk combined) Wagakki band- Japan (more rock than metal but still awesome and I'm gonna count them) Eluveitie- Switzerland (they sing in a dead language) Al-Namrood- Saudi arabia (They risk their heads to play metal .... hence they are the most metal band out there!)
Also if you pay attention the whole song is alread Mongolian and it takes a lot to understand it so putting it in star wars no one understands it it would already innately be assumed alien

yep especially at this part you can hear some familiar words 3:45
This melody already existed as black thunder, EA had them convert it
Greetings from Turkiye. We are proud of Mongol's history cuz we have same history. Peace.
Awesome man to see your language make it into a galaxy far far away...
Not many have this privilege
The original song is called black thunder so I guess they just kept the chant in as it was.

From a heavy riff to just shredding. The amount of skill to play that instrument is insane.
I just realized Fallen Order has now made The Hu part of the Star Wars galaxy since we see in the intro that Cal is listening to them via headphones 😂
That and when you go to the arena after getting captured, you hear Cal go "hey, I know this band"
Survivor took it a step further and had the band do a few more songs for the in-game jukebox, wherein the band in given the name "The Agasar"

Fun Fact on this song - It's a cover of one of their older songs called "Black Thunder", but sung in the Hutt language.
Absolutely love this band.
They are one of the best bands I have heard in my 76 years!
yep, in my 67😉
Felt very good that you reacted to the Hu. I watch hem a few years back. I got into them once again just because of you. Thank you.
If you havent seen The HU - Wolf Totem feat. Papa Roach, get on that bro, its amazing!
A segment of the song is first heard in the opening scenes of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It was created by Mongolian band The Hu and performed in an original Star Wars language specifically for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Sugaan essena means black thunder. And the language is not mongolian. They created a new language for this song and for the game. Thats crazy
This song sounds insane in the game and The HU definitely do this song justice! Time to take up throat singing classes.
Thank you very much for your reaction and thank you for this beautiful music by HU
The instrument that has a 2 strings called "morin khuur" it has a beautiful story behind. Its mongolian traditional instrument.
I just wish I could make it to one of their shows on their upcoming US tour. This old lady loves this band!
Thank you❣️❣️❣️❣️watching you was like I was seeing/hearing first time❣️❣️

They are singing in a Star Wars Universe language. Completely made up. There is a video of the making of this song.
Nervosa a band that I have just discovered lately and arch enemy ravenous and nemesis live in Japan 2008 with the legendary Angela Gossow ❤❤❤
These guys made 2020 bearable.
Nervosa! All female Brazilian thrash and death metal band. songs:
☆ Guide by evil
☆ Under ruin
☆ Perpetual chaos
Cal’s favorite track in the game.. And it’s easy to see why and hard to argue against it.
This song was fit for the game and they now must have them cameo in the mandolorian
Thanks for your reaction video.
amazing reaction
Wow didn’t know that one sounds was a jaw harp! Only ever heard it in Wild West shit
Love your reaction
So good as always 😊👍❤️
Have u seen them live? Im going to see them soon and i cant wait 😆👏👏
Some words stayed Mongolian. I have heard “moo hanna” in the beginning of the song. It means “bad intention”.
How does this video not have more views!
What’s that instrument called making the taut rubber band sounds?
They’re on Coachella list
