To me your home made organ is incredible ! How much you used traditional building and how much you created by your self ? Anyhow: the result and sound is amazing.
Awesome. I'm trying to make my own digital organ pedalboard. I have a question. What material do you use on the side "walls" of the holes where the keys are inserted? So that the woods do not rub against each other.
Hi, no they are both 8' so 65Hz. The difference is that the pipes on the pedalboard have a much larger scale with a round sound and a strong fundamental, while those on the keyboard, which are smaller in section, have many more harmonics and seem to have a less deep sound.
Hi Nippocast. Can you say something about the dimensions of your pedalboard. How wide and long it is and the dimensions of the pedals. I'm making bass pipes and plan to make a pedalboard as soon as I'm done with the bass pipes (soubasse pipes from CC - C).
Hi Chang's Stuff, not yet. I'm preparing my patreon where I'll share many projects of pipe organs and others instruments. I think it will be ready for the end of this year. If you are interested in woodworking I'll start soon a format where I'll build a little portative organ in a traditional way, so stay tuned and if you want subscribe so you will be notified of new videos. Thanks!
Hi, I hope you enjoy the video. For me it was also a good opportunity to clean the dust... 👍
Thank you so much for posting these, it really helped me understand how pipe organ works! I play the reed organ, it is actually slightly similar!
Thank you!

Thanks! I more or less used traditional techniques, but being the first organ I built, 12 years ago, there are some very "do it yourself" details.

What is the name of this music, please? Love your posts!
Air on G string by J.S. Bach
What type of wire are you using? I am creating my own pedalboard!
harmonic steel
@@nippocast Ok thanks. did you form the steel yourself? Or did you buy it. Kind regards
@@alexhatini-compositions Yes, I did them from myself
@@nippocast ok, how thick is the steel wire?
Hi Nippocast! Is the pedalboard C (lowest) 32.7 Hz? And the lowest C on the keyboard is 65.4 Hz?

Hi Hans, I'm away from home for a few days, as soon as I get back I tell you.
Where did you get these springs? Do you use the same springs in the windchest? And are they all the same strenght?
no, these springs are made of spring steel, while those of the windchest are made of raw brass, however I made them myself
@@nippocast How thick is spring steel ?
Do you sell the plans for your design? I'd like to try it as a wood working project.
