    Thank you for this series! I've been working through a book of exercises and feeling frustrated that I couldn't achieve the tone I wanted. I'm a beginning guitarist, and these exercises are helping me so much.

    At 9:41 did you mean to say tirando rather than apoyando?

    How fast have people gotten with index/middle finger

    • @AndrewKeeping
      @AndrewKeeping  4 роки тому

      That's a good question. i would like to know how people are getting on too. My students have found that their speeds are improving considerably.

    Excellent teaching. I have a good and clean _tirando,_ even the speed is good. But my problem is that the fingers of my left hand can't keep up with the speed of my right hand's fingers 😯

      I have done a video on combining the left and the right hand, and this should cover your issue. Good luck. Do get back if you need anything else.

    Whats the diffrence between this and tremolo may i ask

    • @AndrewKeeping
      @AndrewKeeping  5 років тому +1

      Tremolo uses the thumb (p) as the starting bass note followed by a,m,i . This pattern i have demonstrated here is similar but also has uses in faster scale runs wit i and m, m and a, i and a and imam.

    I have really short nails, is it essential to use your nails, can I not just use my fingertips?

    • @AndrewKeeping
      @AndrewKeeping  4 роки тому

      You can absolutely just use fingertips instead.
