THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! I would (seriously) watch hours of these. It beats dealing to myself, by far. Especially no talking, light music. Love it. Thank you. --- 4 spots would be nice though.
Hey man! Love your videos, and I hate to be this guy… BUT 8:38 you doubled A5 against a 3, I believe that’s just a hit. Again love your videos, and keep up the great work! Thank you for what you do :)
Good catch.. I was definitely using an expanded deviation there of +4 with the count. But I should have just been using basic strategy. Lol Brain fart. Thanks for watching!!
@@A1-BJ at 12:16 if you were using expanded deviations shouldnt you have stood on the 16 V 9 the count was 21 with 3 decks left meaning TC 7 and the deviation is 4 right? Unless I'm missing something I'm not trying to be obnoxious I'm just curious if this was a screw up or I dont know something deeper
@@A1-BJ oh ok, the other guy you responded to you said you used an expanded deviation that's where I got mixed up, were you just learning some of them at this time?
I found 2 dealers the other day cutting less than or just about one deck off an 8 deck shoe. Too baf it was a full table and dealer was so slow, hit a true -m2 and decided it wasnt worth the EV with the hands per hour. Will definitely go back and scout those 2 out though on off times

Surprisingly it's my first time ever attempting to count I started seeing thinking it was 6 7 8 that were 0 after first count I rewound knowing it was 7,8,9, my count stayed right all but one time I was off by 1 one time the rest the way through amazingly it wasn't as hard as I thought. That being said I would probably not be able to hold conversation or hardly count out my bet without getting confused this early.
I usually cap my max bets at a true +5 or maybe +6. For each true count, the player edge goes up ABOUT a half of a percentage (depending on the rest of the rules, of course). So, in general, if we start to gain the edge at a true +1, a +2 would be a 0.5% advantage, a +3 would be a 1% advantage... so by the time you get to a true +12 (which is pretty rare) you'd have about a 5.5% advantage.
@@A1-BJ so gaining an edge above 1-3% IS possible! Thank you. Funny thing- just after watching this video, 2 days later I got to a running 32! on a 8 deck shoe, 3 decks to go! I raised 10x ($100 bet)… made out ok luckily. Silly to start at $100 based on my current roll. I’ve made the same profit from $25 bets 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
@@A1-BJ ok so capping is NOT losing money long term! Thanks! Also, I am playing above my 1000 unit bank roll in attempts to BUILD a proper bank roll. Need to start somewhere!

This was great. Personally, I enjoy the limited commentary and could do without the chips entirely. I get that plenty of people are going to wong out at a -2 true count or so, but being able to count in high negative counts is a tool I desire to add to the kit. Perhaps a shoe front loaded with high cards?

@bruce4139 this was an old video, I don't think I was using expanded deviations back then. But yes, that would be correct

Great video! I started off messing up every running count, but about halfway in I zoned in and nailed every checkpoint!

That was great I kept the count till -9 only one out though so wasn’t too bad
I'm 7 mins from one, 35 from another and 1hr from the third. "Heaven"
Can you do a video on changing basic strategy based on true count? Thanks

When do we raise our bets. Running count +20!! I’ll be betting high!!
So how many units would you actually bet on a True 12+ and greater?
Also, is that really a player edge greater than 3%?

@@A1-BJ why the cap?
@@CompletekTraining to curb variance. The swings are MASSIVE if you don't, and you need a huge bankroll.

One of my first 6-deck shoes was super negative. it should be in the playlist. I've done about 7 or 8 of these, and I believe it was the 2nd one.
Yea but what does that all mean? Ok the counts at -10 so …..
Like do we want that? ?
