Glad you did this video. I’m going this June and haven’t been back in 20 years. Excited for what I’ll see.

It's still a great resort and they've even added amenities in that same time. I don't even think West Village was built out back then. Thanks for watching!

would you rather stay here or the sheraton vistana villages with a family of four ( 2 children under 5).? Asking because I just stayed at the sheraton vistana villages and really enjoyed it with family of 4. going back in January. love your videos . Thank you

Both are great resorts. Another option is Marriott’s Harbour Lake, but they will be doing pool work in January. Grande Vista seems to have more activities than Sheraton Vistana Villages but Grande Vista doesn’t have a waterslide. All said, you can’t go wrong with either one.

I’m coming here in December. How far is it from SeaWorld & Universal studios?

SeaWorld is only about a 5 minute drive. Universal Studios is about 15-20. For Universal I suggest driving up Turkey Lake road vs taking I-4. Look at some maps to see what I mean. It may not save a lot of time but will be less stressful than the highway.

@ thanks for answering. Do you suggest rent a car or ride share? We not going sight seeing. Only going to those two parks and staying on the resort

@@charlesquentin934 It depends. Rental cars aren't that cheap these days. Ride share is easy and you can also use the I-Ride Trolly to go up and down International Drive. It won't really get you to the parks though. There aren't really any restaurants or other things that are walkable from the resort.

I've been going here since 2009, but now I won't be going back because they charge a $25 daily parking fee. Over the years, it was free, and now they're charging! That is ridiculous. I will not be staying anymore, and I will be canceling my Marriott credit card. I'm not paying $175 to park for seven nights. It was great while it lasted.

Do you normally rent through Marriott.com or some other online travel agent? If so the new fee does apply and I agree, it is very disappointing. If you are staying on a timeshare based stay, through Interval International or through Marriott Vacation Club ownership, then the new parking fees shouldn't apply. I made a recent video about the parking fees. ua-cam.com/video/bi6WxEhRpZI/v-deo.html

@ I have the Marriott Bonvoy credit card and I gain points to use at the grande vista over the years and they told me last week when I spent 1 night that it was $25 daily. I usually stay 5-7 days so it would be pricey. I book through the Marriott website
