It's sad to lose Murray and his incredible knowledge of F1and it's people and having known so many greats of the F1its a sad loss for a great sport. But he forgot Filipe Massa, Pedro Diniz and Ricardo Zonta! R.I.P Mr Walker
@@donotstalkme Hi I was joking talking about Zonta,Massa and Diniz because I was surprised Murrary didn't mention him Nelson either. In fact I rate him very highly and a driver who wins 3 world titles in the turbo time is a champ. My Brazilians are Senna,Piquet, Fittipaldi,Barrichello and Massa, then Diniz and maybe Zonta, they were both pay drivers. I don't think Emerson's sons made F1 but INDI cars. THANKS.
@@brucekilby9957 No problem mate, it's hard to catch sarcasm and jokes on the internet, it's my fault. I'm brazilian, so I may be biased here, but to me, when talking F1, after Senna, Piquet and Fittipaldi, I would put Roberto Pupo Moreno up there. His Suzuka drive, placing 2nd after Nelson, both on the Benneton, is one of the most amazingly emotional moments in F1. Watch it if you didn't, you will not regret it. His tears at the end always get me. Barrichello was a tear jerker too, but I don't know, I could never relate to him like a Senna (unbelievable will to win), Piquet (an anti-hero of sorts for the brazilian people) or a Moreno (a huge amount of potential, always fighting against the terrible cars and situations life put him on). You forgot Mauricio Gugelmin on your list :-) Cheers
@@donotstalkme Hi again Yes Moreno I do remember him. I think he did not have a long career and then it's hard to remember so many drivers. The best thing Zonta did was get out of Schumacher and Hakkinens way at SPA in 2000. Enjoy F1 this year, Verstappen drive very well in the first race.
He won the NASCAR Limited Late Model at age 15 (2011) and he wanted to keep racing in America (NASCAR championship), but this year he is moving to Europe to compete in Formula cars. They say it is due to sponsor request, but who knows...

You noticed that he forgot Pedro f***ing Diniz but didn't notice he forgot the 3x World Champ, the master of the Turbo Era, Nelson Piquet :-)

RIP Murray Walker
He missed Nelson Piquet though!
Nelson never drove for McLaren other than briefly in 78 in a several seasons out of date M23.
@@adammercer6004 , neither did Barichello
@@sohammhatre True maybe would have been a better career move tbh for him
Legend.
nice to see that mclaren, at least, recognize our brazillian heroes
And here it comes Pietro Fittipaldi
He won the NASCAR Limited Late Model at age 15 (2011) and he wanted to keep racing in America (NASCAR championship), but this year he is moving to Europe to compete in Formula cars. They say it is due to sponsor request, but who knows...
