The "beloved Gospel singer". His funeral service was a testimony of a life spent in the Service of his Master. Some of my earliest memories are of my father and his brothers singing these hymns and travelling to Glasgow to sing with the Scottish Festivals of Male Voice Praise...They re all singing in Glory now...😂
This song takes me back to my childhood of the 50's! Just recently saw where George Beverly Shea is buried at the Billy Graham Library here in Charlotte.
Mother and I often sang this as a duet along with other hymns after supper when I was in 6th grade. Seems like yesterday, but it was a very long time ago.
He didn’t sell out for untold riches, but remained faithful to God.
What a great, great voice.
Great voice and album. just found out Elvis did 9 gospel albums. Need songs like this more than ever. RIP George 🙏
The most glorious music ever made. Glory to God!
This is the way music ought to be. This is what we are missing in our society today.
Beautiful words sung so long ago and still touches my life. Those words will never grow old. Praise the Lord.
Thank you and may the Lord greatly bless you for sharing these timeless classics!
There is non Righteous, no not one. It’s not by works least anybody should boast. Only by the belief in the Lord Jesus Christ.
