To add to these hymns, suggest going to the music from The Netherlands, especially from Urk. Zingen in de Zummer has special groups and a lot of congregational singing. Other names to look for are: Jaap Kramer and Soli Deo Gloria (Urk), Hendrick van Veen, Jacob Schenk and the Urker Zangers, Eiland Urk, Hugo van de Mies. Much of the music is on UA-cam. If I only heard one song and hadn't been following them for 4 years, I'd want to know "Blessings", with Lucas Kramer (his brother is Jaap Kramer)

I am a Music Minister in Texas and we sing the grand old hymns of the faith from the hymnal. We don't have smoke machines and mood lighting with songs nobody knows but the ones on the stage showing off and calling it worship. If they do bring in a hymn, it's so jazzed up that you can't sing it. I love it that we are considered "old fashioned" but my congregation can just as ramped up singing the hymns as these young bucks can performing what ever it is they call it.

I was wondering why it was different than the usual posts of the ones in the USA. I can see glimpses of some of the singers sitting down but few of their songs are shown. Still good but I miss the variety.
How wonderful to listen to these Gospel songs. Takes me back in time, when these Gospel.songs were sung in the churches but it is sad that they are not sung anymore. My generation knows all the hymns you sing in this musical montage (I was born in 1962, and in 12 days I turn 62). I give glory to God for such initiatives☝️ Here in Romania, young people have abandoned the old hymns and the music they promote is totally different from what was sung in the Church 30-40 years ago...! It's an imitation of Hillsong music, the worship music...! So this style of music is almost gone....we still sing it some nostalgic...!😥 Can someone tell me the name of the brother who conducts the chants...? I am glad to be able to bless you on this path from Romania...! Glory be to the Lord! ☝️❤️🥰🤗

Who said drums, guitars, piano and organ can't be used for the old hymns. Just wonderful,praise God.
They can be used but sometimes the drums just ruined the song with the loud bang.
My former church in Marianna, FL , USA used to have an entire orchestra along with their choir on Sundays.
