I wish more American companies had passion about their work like the Japanese. So much we can learn from their culture.

They exist bro, the fact that America has pretty much single handedly pushed the limits of Japanese cars in terms of performance in terms of R&D trying to squeeze every HP out of the motors and cut that apex just a little faster speaks for itself. Japan of the 90's was doing th is but America has long caught up and surpassed.

Japanese culture is a motor sports culture just like football for Americans... American tuners have definitely pushed the limits as far as drag racing goes but on time attack I think Japanese tuners are still superior..
***** Japanese parts are definitely pricey but if I had the money I would have spoon sport build an engine.. They're motors are spec for 24 hour races and I'd drive is very confidently knowing reliability wouldn't be an issue. I agree on their motors not having a lot of HP but I'm sure if you ask for a high HP motor they'll be able to build you one no problem..
You cant compare these two cultures... Those engines are built for different cars and even different "tracks". Its true that LS engines are more reliable for high HP builds but you dont have to have a lot of power in those low weight japanese cars. For example honda civic ek9 with B16 was fast like hell even with 182 HP but it has good suspension and weight so it could compare to cars with more HP. I would not change engine in the s2000, because the engine is specific and unique for that car.

the fact that i can hear the copyright soundover is the only thing that bugs me about this video. every 15 seconds or so i head "audio (something)" which i have heard that stuff before while trying to help my videographer find songs. and it is extremely obnoxious that that Maiham-media didn't actually PURCHASE the song that was playing...especially considering how big their productions are.

why it is revving so little it should reach 9k rpm. also it is not necessary to change rods and pistons until 450 hp. however best mod for s2k
It's kind of annoying, that HKS choose not to buy the song they are using for the video. You can hear 'Audiojungle' every couple minutes or so, meaning it was a free sample they used...

GOD i love the s2k so much. i almost bought one but im 6'4" and used to be in football and mma so it was just too small no matter what seat i could put into the body is just too small

there has gotta be something u could do about that yao ming the basket ball player had a benz and he was too tall so they did something with the seat and it fixed it
you have to run a really deep seat as well as basically either get dropper seat rails that mount the seat lower or ditch the rails all together and run the seat directly bolted through the floor in your desired driving position, you would lose forward and back adjustment but a rail delete is good for maybe 3 inches of clearance and a seat that is deep enough to seat you nice and low may give you another inch or two up top as well. Im 6ft on the dot and about 190 lbs and i fit in an unmodified s2k quite easily
Sean Bowman Yeah but that's a whole hell of a lot of work even before I get my first drive in. Plus on top of being 6'4, I got my dads genes and built like an ox, so I weigh 275 on average. And abut 265 if i cut weight. So i actually just bought a 2014 Charger SRT. And for my daily I have a Toyota Tundra TRD.
No driver can resist driving an S2000.

Because the supercharger they are using in this car, is a centrifugal supercharger or blower, while the kind you seem to prefer the sound of, is a roots type blower, also referred to as a twin screw

It's a stylistic choice, we know perfectly well how to use colours or specifically use the ones we want to create a mood and tone for the film. Our client really enjoyed the colour grading and they're our main priority.
MaihamMedia . I know that it's a stylistic choice. The guys from YAER productions (who edit a lot of the Ryan Tuerck stuff) do the same post-processing. In my opinion the lack of contrast looks absolutely terrible... I cannot enjoy watching those videos even though the editing is great.
