Every JamAttack Transition (...so far)

- I got bored and made a compilation of every single transition across all my Geometry Dash levels... sort of. I'm defining a transition as a small part or effect that links 2 bigger parts together. I also only included transitions that do something interesting. I didn't include stuff like fades, cuts, flashes, screen wipes, or just seamless part-to-part.
For collabs I've been in or hosted, I only included transitions I made or helped significantly with. There's a few transitions in here that themselves were made in collaboration.
Anyway transitions are super important in levels, I try to treat them like their own parts and give them the same time. They're what tie your level together as a full cohesive experience, so I take them very seriously.
This idea was inspired by the new twitter gimmick account "Cool GD Transitions"

Ive never realised the amount of levels youve made/participated in.
The only levels that i recognize are jam factory, octagon force, world world, cyber dream, and the cellar path
Though, youre one of those top creators that i know. So, seeing this many levels isnt really surprising :P

Making transitions are my weakness. I struggle with them a lot compared to block and bg design. I admire your creativity and execution on your transitions!

@@redapplefour6223 it's ok to take inspiration from other creators, and I still take inspiration from Jon to this day. I just take inspiration from a lot of other creators as well. That part does look very Jonathan GD and a lot of stuff I made did back then, but hey, at least I just copied the style and not actual block designs like a lot of people do lol.
Also I was learning and I emulated creators I liked to find things that worked. Now I've built enough that I can have a little more nuance with that and also take inspiration from my own past works.
@@JamAttack yeah ur right about like, sorta copying ppl to get more used to the editor is smth ppl do talk about and i think is interesting, sorry sorta typed this late, im still sorta trying to figure out like how exactly to say like 1. i really dont like when a creator who has nothing to do with another (not in the same circle) just makes a level completely fully in their style, like a fully rafer or hinds style level just really rubs me the wrong way, because that creator spent a considerable amount of time slowly accruing their own little inspirations before assembling them into something unique (and i say 'not in the same circle' because im friends w hinds and i know loogiah & vlacc, and loogiah and majacko have sorta fused their styles together now w loogiah taking a lot of inspiration from majacko, borderline copying but clearly influencing each other heavily which doesnt bother me that much) and 2. it's selfish and ridiculous and probably wouldnt even happen at this rate but i'm really anxious about if a lot more ppl would know about my layouts because ive spent like all my time in gd slowly accruing my own style and refining it and i do sincerely believe i have something that no one else in the game is doing, which i know sounds super ridiculous but yeah thats kinda just whats crystalized after spending like 6 years of my life doing something with a little bit of attention from some figureheads in the community but overall just not much in general, its like, all the other creators i know of who have that kinda thing happen to them, that sudden upshot in attention given to them leading to people literally just copying their vibe just super, super freaks me out, idk just rly wanted to sorta give my full perspective on this for maybe another look at this ridiculous echo chamber mentality ive slowly built up lol and sorry i really do tend to ramble a lot im not very good at presenting very tight, concise things
@@redapplefour6223 replicating another creator's style can be a really fun challenge. I did that with Jayuff once and it was a blast. The problem is when:
That becomes the only thing someone does
They aren't honest about it
They straight up copy an exact design with none of their own changes.
-This last one is easy to avoid if you just combine elements of multiple designs. I do this a lot more than you might think.
