The plugin update is awful. Not only does it make it more difficult for developers to buy plugins, but it is pointless in the first place. If Roblox was really concerned about what cut of the sales the plugin developers were getting, why didn't they just lower their "robux tax rates"

That update is trash, roblox making us use actual money instead of robux? As a former dev, why not lower the robux tax rate?
Pet sim drama is not just that. the hackers pretty much abused the glitch before reporting it and they even asked for money, but the devs gave them the best pets in game and banned anyone who was talking about it to the devs. and coylist also replied to a tweet about all of it saying "boring topic next". there is a lot more but this is just the main drama.
They could completely ruin the economy of pet sim. They got 1:1 pets. WHICH IS INSANE.
They even earned 20k huge pets from abusing it

There's nothing wrong with 17+ games, the content of these games are for 17+, not all ages
Another huge issue is that many players are still getting DMCA bans and strikes for old copyrighted clothing, image, and other assets they uploaded years ago, and they can't remove it. The issue has been spoken about a few times here and there, but whats even worse is if you email roblox the links to the assets, they don't always reply, and even if they do, they don't actually delete the assets.

Plus, we're not talking about a rare case for some people, but many players on roblox worry a lot about getting banned over a Nike T-shirt that they can't remove, this is a huge issue, and needs as much attention as it can get.

Yeah, it’s like Profits > Fun and think it’s gonna fix anything on the platform. Roblox really needs to keep the good features the same.
If roblox does release public ugc, they should make some sort of system where people who already had ugc access can upload items like normal, but other people will only be able to upload a certain amount of items per day so that the catalog doesn’t get spammed and Roblox can moderate bad items.

It would be better though if you can choose what transaction method to buy plugins, Like the choice to buy with Robux or Dollars or maybe with other currencies.
the plugins update is the reason my dev team consisting of 3people (including me) had to resort to animation huge L update for roblox.

I have no idea if this was featured anywhere else, but I can barely find any info on it so I'ma just talk about it here in hopes this gets more well known.
It's a bug where any time I try to save a new avatar it automatically changes to r15 even if I set it to r6. There's nothing that changes it and it's really annoying, it's put me off from making new avatars. I have no idea how to fix this and I'm unsure if this is roblox goofing up or if it's to do with something else. Either way I'm not the only one experiencing this and I hope it gets fixed
Public UGC may actually cause a lot of trouble not just the pubishers, but roblox as a whole can get sued for unfair copyright usage.

about the pet sim drama,people often get hired and are allowed to use hacks to be able to find security bugs and gameplay bugs.Roblox bug finding programm allows to hack too so you can find bugs easier.This was probably the case here,because for what i know pet sim is very strict when it comes to exploiting

At 7:00 the reason blood items are getting banned is because the trolls at Peak UGC are abusing the EU reporting system and they keep spam reporting random items but then they started spam reporting blood items
The first one is actually bad, it may work on countries that don't use Dollar as main currency. but on some countries such as Brazil, every paid plugin is going offsale

1:54 Yes, its not the same amount of money, and thats because the minimum you can sell a plugin for is 4.99$, so Plugins that were 100 Robux before, are now 4.99$ which is really stupid.

Some extra details about the Pet Sim 99 Drama:
The hackers were abusing the exploit to get a ton huge pets before reporting the bug, and after getting the titanics they attempted to sell them for real life money.
The plugin update is bad for consumers and sellers because now sellers are going to get less sales and consumers may not be able to obtain plugins
Also plugin scams are not just taking 30 cents worth or robux but now 5 dollars or more. Roblox needs to consider things like this before making decisions.
(Plugin scams are when the plugins are advertised through 3rd party platforms and they don't work or don't work as advertised)

People are mad at Pet Sim cause giving those pets away will cause the value to drop and cause other people to want to find major exploits/hacks basically to blackmail Pet sim to give them these "Good" Pets. It's a exploit that they used and they where not planning on reporting it to pet sim, but the Devs found out and paid them off rather then fixing the exploit. These pets that they where giving are apparently worth in the thousands people say. (I could be wrong about the pricing, but there is almost a lot of Black-market Websites to sell pet sim x pets for real money.)

For those who don’t understand the drama of pet sim 99, the hackers found an exploit to get every pet that they want and they abused it (idk like 10k 20k) and they decided to report it to big games so they get rewards (they got pets but they wanted money) and they reported this also so no one can use this exploit, so alot of people are mad at this, and the response of big game is that they don’t care « boring topic next » and people are mad.

Here is the pet sim drama fully explained : Hackers found a bug that allows them to duplicate pets and they did that but after they did that they were going to the devs and telling them that there is a duplicate bug and the devs gave them the rarest pets in the game and now players are really mad about that and please like it took me like 30 minutes to explain it all 🥰

The reason everyone is mad on those hackers from pet simulator 99 is because before they reported it they abused the exploit a bit which already broke the economy a lot and then got rewarded whit items that break the economy of ps99 on there own and they also tried to cross trade the pets for a lot of real money
