i kinda think they went too far. a little spice is fine, but it feels like they dumped gallons of carolina reaper hot sauce into the pot. i mean it does make them more interesting but remember this is a social game. if you are as rude as the english villagers, you're not gonna make any friends. a little sass is fine for cranky and snooty villagers. but i feel like they went wayyyyy overboard.
Clearly the aftermath of despression caused by Redd betraying him out of every bell he had, forcing him to leave the big city. It's not as bad here, but Mable mentioned how, at one point, even the kind words of his friends hurt him after that.

WHERE IS MY MONEY?!” I had like 2000 bells in my pocket, the game forced me to give them to him. It wasn’t nearly enough, he just shouted, “ARRRRG!” in the text box and the game cut to me exiting the store. When I returned home, my gyroid informed me that Nook walked in and totally smashed up the inside of my house and he couldn’t even let me go in anymore. Funny stuff to think back on now.
Hello again! This was really funny and in the previous AC games, everything was much more brutal than it is and ACNH. I watched a video about how ACNH is much more boring and has more boring dialogue than every other game lol. I'll have to edit this to add the name of the UA-camr and you should go check it out! Edit: Her channel is Jaiden Animations and the video is called: Animal Crossing used to be so much darker... By the way it's not creepy in any way
While I don't like how the villagers and some npcs treated the player in the old games, I often find myself wanting to go back to them. I miss is the music and the random balls that the player could interact with.
I miss gamecube animal crossing. The characters personalities were much more articulate and unique. By the way are you using an emulator or playing on the console?
