love the mud flaps. very nice work! love the 20 series deeres. well anything late 90's and older. beautiful tractor! take a spot of grease and dab the housing in a half dozen spots and it will hold the gaskets in place. i know i am to late, but when you slide axles back on we use a piece of twine to hold the brake plate to the axle housing, then at the last second you can pull the twin out and everything will be in place, it lets you wiggle the axle around to align splines. some tractors had a raised tooth on the back of the sun gear to hold brake disk.
Put a many hours on a 1980 8640 john deere. My favorite on the farm. We row crop farmed here in Georgia in the 80's. Gotta love it. That tractor was a beast of its era. Love the vids friend. Reminds me of my childhood...raised on a farm. GaMike
I'll tell you what when I was a kid in the winter time that's all we did is rebuild equipment for the coming spring login season in farming I can definitely sympathize with you getting your knuckles scraped and your fingers pinched and your hands dirty but you know the best part about all of that you enjoy it That's what makes it so awesome I enjoy watching your videos very very much person that actually doesn't mind getting your hands dirty
Thanks for subscribing. Should have alot of harvest content coming in the next month. The Mack was one of my first pieces of equipment and has treated me very well
Where did you buy those mud flaps? I’d put that on my white Chevy dually Nvm, I read the other comment on where to get them. I wonder if they sell online 🤔
I work full time for the local milking equipment dealership then part time on the farm and have a lot of the harvesting and manure hauling equipment as my own business
When I bought the tractor it had high low bad in it. I rebuilt that prior. This time the oil line that feeds oil to the tange selector shaft broke and welded 2/5th gear to the pinion shaft. Tractor lived a very tough life before i bough it working out all the issues
Farming with Duffyc91 same here in Maine, the corn that we have tasseled out is rolling up like cigar tubes. Pretty scary actually. We went from a mud bog last year to a drought this yesr
I didn't lower my mask at 5:00. I think I got welder's flash. I know it's not funny when it happens for real, but isn't the comment section for jokes? lol
