Great video, Carl, thank you for the tutorial on the SDR Angel app to monitor and record military radio, thank you for sharing the information. Oh, Carl your Thai curry really looks delicious! Can't wait to see your other videos and what you will be cooking up(hi-hi).
Nice video Carl. First thing to try to reduce noise from the battery and appliances is to move them away from the radio and your coax. You can try some snap on ferrite to make chokes for the power cables . I'm not sure where on the power cable to place them, but it might help.
The hack rf is a great bit of kit Carl, that was my 1st setup along with amp to tx on qo100 satellite..Your setup with tent is looking great and the tai curry 😋 73s Gm4zji Chris
I have briefly tried DragonOS on running on windows and struggled to work out how to add an SDR device, but I was using a cheap Ebay copy of a RSP1 so maybe that was the issue
the drivers should be there for the RSP1, depends how you were trying to run it and also the USB cable needs to be a data cable not just a charging cable, things like that can create an issue

Fascinating. Have you got a link to the frequencies of interest?

Have you ever had any luck monitoring the Chinese military?
It’s difficult to know at times
did i miss an episode when you cut a hole in your tent?
The tent comes with a stove jack 😊
Interesting video Carl, looking forward to learning more. Tipi is looking better now, what did you do? Raise the pole?
Thanks, I stopped being lazy and tidied up after the first bit of pegging out 😊
@@M0SZT You'll be sleeping in it next! Cheers Rich MW7RJO
