End of an era | VW Razorback project finished | What now?!

- WE DID IT, four months ago we took on a huge project of restoring this rare VW Razorback whilst we took a break from adventuring on the road. It didn’t quite go to plan but we made it through. Grab a cuppa to watch the final product unfold & get a sneak peak into what’s next for The Travel Duo.

We are Chris & Sam also known as The Travel Duo for our love of travel & adventure. In January 2022 we left our home & jobs in Plymouth to fulfil our dream of living life on the road with our gorgeous spaniel Fletcher. We will be travelling the world in our home on wheels who we named ‘Olive’, whilst we work remotely & follow our passions of filmmaking on the road.

If you're venturing to Scandanavia next February, at least keep the Razorback till then. You might even find that values of vehicles are slightly stronger too than they would be now, unless of course you find the right buyer at the right price. Hope you have some fun with it for a while.

Thanks lovely✨️ awwww we know, it's such a tough decision for us right now🙉 we love it so much, but know we will be travelling for most of next year 🫠

Do you already have your next trip all planned out ? Or do you play it by ear when you get there ?
We will have to wait and see 🥰 we usually play everything by ear with our trips around Europe but will start planning soon a rough route ✨️

🍝 Awh man, the Razor back looks ace 👌 I suppose it really depends on whether you need the cash as to whether or not you sell it. Me personally, if you don't need the cash right now, I'd keep it. Because of its rarity, it will only increase in value? It will be useful to use for short journeys etc. But I wouldn't want to use it in the winter time, with all the salt that will be on the roads from gritting, don't want to cause any damage to the bodywork/paint work. I am so jealous of your plans for February, but I am really looking forward to your vlogs ❤
Thank you so much! If we sold the Razorback it would make our Norway trip even better with the extra cash but it will be hard to let it go 🫣🙃 it's such a nice vehicle but realistically we are going to be travelling all next year in Olive 🙉

Sell her. You have done an amazing job on her but she needs to be used now. You wont be around to use her. You have incredible adventure ahead of you and hopefully so does she with someone who will love her just as much as you both do. Excited for Norway for you. Its an amazing place 😍 🛻
