their is no way that pointer beat the Burmese mountain dog that dog had everything
There is always some subjectivity in show judging. However, GSP s are the best all around dogs. They can do anything but you had better give them daily exercise. They get wild if you don't. They have so much energy. I have a 12 yr and 4 yr old. They are so smart. They live inside and hunt weekly.

Fligemon ... So sorry about your loss. I am dreading the same with my 12 yr old dam. She thinks she's a person and truly is a family member. My kids I love, my GSPs , and my wife, I luvvvv. They are the best dog I have hunted with. Hands down, and so loyal and smart. Watching them in the field is amazing. What heart, what drive. Thanks for sharing. Blessings to you.
They are judged based on the breed standards and how much they conform to those standards. You cannot compare 2 dogs unless they are the same breed
