    Man, I really appreciate that no-nonsense approach of yours. I have no interest whatsoever in the tech aspect of things, I just want to make the most of the tools Photoshop provides. And that's what your tutorials are all about. Massive kudos, sir! :)

      It works on overlay as well, but I noticed that too

      I noticed it afterward. Overlay works, too. Soft Light is just usually a little bit better for edges. Good eye!

    *Can this work on images where everything is sharp and in focus? Cos I have a few* 😔

      It should, if you use the lasso tool or pen tool for your selection

    • @tutvid

      Yep. Works for images that fall far out of focus and stuff that's sharp front-to-back

    Thanks for another great tutorial! Does doubling the size of the image give you more pixels to work with, thus effecting the algorithms of the selection tools? Or is it just for the user to somehow see the image better? Anyone know?

    This is not a complex background... that photo is so well shot and the hair is sharp the background is out of focus, the auto select subject tool would have zero trouble with this. You should do a viewer submitted video where folks send you photos they’re struggling with, and you could do 3 or 4 cut outs. THAT would be dope!

    • @tutvid
      @tutvid  5 років тому +1

      That's a good idea. Maybe I can start a series where a couple times a month I can take 3-4 images from the people and try my best to make the difficult selections

    Amazing work tutvid. I wonder do you have anykind of tutorial about adding someone to completely different photo. I see some tutorials in the youtube but i am %100 sure if you do it that will be way more better and much easier to understand what you have to do about it. I am kinda getting it lately but the move you make at the end of the tutorial is insane. I hope you see this i want to learn the adjustments about placing someone in to another photo. Great video amazing work congrats!
