ok. So you made me cry too... wouldn't have thought a video about repairing a suitcase/bag could manage this. But in the end this video tells a beautiful story about love, loyalty and respect. Thank you for sharing it with us. I have an 65 years old wool sweater my grandmother knitted for my dad when he went to sea as a sailor at the age of 20. It still looks good though it has some gigantic holes at the sleeves meanwhile. They both died long time ago, but when I wear it I feel connected to my family and it would be one of the first pieces I would save in case of fire ....
The more I watch this channel, the more I realised that it is a SE Asian artisan here making this product. It is so emotional watching these videos, as it invokes so much memories... I still recall my mother's beautiful fur coat. And my father's beautiful leather suitcase as well which he often used to travel with all over the world when he was a seaman back in those days.... I can see how these products were really a time of essence... a legacy... I wonder if the daughter will always know of this... This is a unique one off... which is never to be replaceable really. Regardless of whatever designs is from Gucci. (Yet, I hope that you also have Gucci's blessings too ! :) ) These items are really a time of history... and legacy....

The bag looks so good and the best bit was definitely the personal touch with the stamp of the mother made from the father's painting of her. Also amazing was rhe vintage Gucci logo. What an amazing and historic piece
The daughter could have used the bag as-is or had it restored, but as a handbag, she can keep the memory of her mother with her every day. This is such a beautiful transformation, I’m sure she loved the bag!!
My god, this is leather craft on the highest level. From the design stage to perfectly cutting every piece and final assembly. I'm blown away at how talented The Master is. The bag looks so good and the best bit was definitely the personal touch with the stamp of the mother made from the father's painting of her. Also amazing was rhe vintage Gucci logo. What an amazing and historic piece
The daughter could have used the bag as-is or had it restored, but as a handbag, she can keep the memory of her mother with her every day. This is such a beautiful transformation, I’m sure she loved the bag!!

My god, this is leather craft on the highest level. From the design stage to perfectly cutting every piece and final assembly. I'm blown away at how talented The Master is. It would be nice to even come close. Just designing is very difficult, thankfully you can get patterns now. Just look at that finished bag, amazing work my friend. Thanks from Canada
