Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is an upcoming open-world action-adventure video game based on James Cameron's Avatar film series.[1] The game is being developed by Massive Entertainment and will be published by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Amazon Luna in 2023 or 2024.

When Ubisoft has control over any game we should all be worried, their known to have beautiful trailers but horrible gameplay at launch.

@SQUASHUA While Ubisoft did some terrible stunts the product aka Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora shouldn't be paired up with it's developer. Assassin's Creed "Valhalla reached over $1 billion in revenue, becoming the most financially successful entry into the series in it's 15-year long run".

Some things I want for this game are character customisation, more than just the forest, and multiplayer. I know most of that will not happen but I feel it would create a world people feel they can actually live in. As a kind of escape

I really hope that, since Avatar is a passion project from James Cameron, he is involved enough to not let Ubisoft fuck this up. This game has potential, specially if you could customize your character and perhaps choose between the two sides somehow. Hopefully this game is as good as what they promise it to be…

yeah rockstar are well known for their scifi cinematic games.
Too much blind loyalty to a specific dev always ends in disappointment. Eventually the once best in the business companies get greedy when the sales guys get the reigns. And the studio becomes a shadow of what it once was. There's a specific limit to how much growth a company can do and after it just turns to shit... Blah blah blah

I was always kind of on the fence about Avatar, and I think its potential for good plot lines feels pretty limited, but it's neat to see a quality studio putting together an open world game for it. They definitely have the experience!
Hopefully it feels unique enough from Far Cry or the newer AC titles.
The problem i have with Ubisoft is that all their games feel very samey. I would prefer them breach away from the open world "attack this camp of enemies" rince and repeat aspect of Far Cry + Assassins Creed. I'd love to see more of a solid RPG. Building relationships, skills.. shaping your character to be an expert in specific things.. I feel they have one shot at making a good avatar game so i hope its good. I hope it isnt just your standard far cry game with Avatar theme.

So excited for this game! Can’t wait for level locked regions, viewpoint towers to unlock the map and waypoints, marine outposts to take out to create safe houses and a long list of antagonists to take out until finally getting to the main villain. No doubt there’ll also be some sort of Eagle vision using the electrochemical connections in Pandora. True innovation! 😂😂😂

I was excited to watch the trailer, and then I saw they have put "ears" o the ikrans.
Hope they have the movement from ac unity for climbing trees and swinging and also the stealth movement from ac syndicate
The lack of third person is a big bummer, but not surprising because Ubisoft. I'll probably pick it up on sale for $4.99 just to walk around the forests at night. Other than that my expectations are rock bottom honestly
