My favourite Cyndi Lauper song. So underrated that it hurts. This song deserved to be a huge hit worldwide and on the same level as her hits from the 1980´s. Hope that she will make a dance-pop album again, but I also respect her choices by not following the trends but making the music that she wants to make. When you have reached the level of legacy that Cyndi Lauper have reached you don´t need to chase a hit single because her fan base will always love and respect her music. No matter what genre it is. ❤❤❤

I was invited by a dear friend from High School to attend this filming, but it was the same night I had my car and cats packed in my car for a move out West. Your music has always been an inspiration and this song is no different. I'm sorry it took me so long to finally look it it. The friend who invited me, Anthony, actually died a few years afterwards. He is deeply missed by many. I don't know if he made it into the crowd, but I'm looking! I know he loved your music, we both grew up with you in the 80s!

She was sooo cool at her moment. and Besides all the competition nowadays I'd be very glad if she continued to do things. Exactly. Why do people always feel the need to pit women against each other? Madonna & Cyndi are both unique & talented artists. People can have their preferences but the hostility in some of the comments on here is disappointing and unnecessary. Denigrating Madonna does not do Cyndi any favors...if you love Cyndi then devote your comments to celebrating her work instead of bashing other women. Reading some of the comments here leads one to believe that many of Cyndi's fans are insecure and unable to cope with Madonna's level of success in comparison to Cyndi's, which is stupid since it should be about art and not popularity. And frankly, some of the comments are downright sexist, which flies in the face of what both artists stand for. Cyndi has always taken the high road and has been very gracious when asked about her fictional rivalry with Madonna in interviews...it's unfortunate that many of her fans are not inspired to take her lead.

Madonna kept ascending, while Cyndi wandered into the wilderness of pop experiment, a has-been since 1986, trying her hand at blues, standards, dance, and rockabilly.
