- We can't believe we actually did it... we have been dreaming of taking a trip like this for years but never had enough courage to actually make it happen- partly because our kids were younger which made lengthy travel tough! But a few months ago as the school year was winding down we made the decision one night that we were just going to do it- we were going to embark on the most epic road trip we've ever taken. We immediately started researching the coolest places to visit and the craziest places to stay and when we were finished we had the outline of our trip- 2000+ miles, a dozen epic stops, multiple airbnbs, and the making of the most epic summer adventure ever!!
We are so excited to present to you our full length Colorado adventure and we hope you feel like you're coming along for the ride with us!
I really enjoyed going along with you, it felt like I was there. Beautiful shots taken on their road, hiking and great pictures of your family. Such a memorable trip and I’m so impressed by how many hikes your kids took. Even your six year old doing all those hikes was awesome!

Hi my beautiful family in Christ!!! I always enjoy y’all videos but this one…. All I can say is wow !! Well I have a lil more to say. Yall had me in tears when yall had to take bby boy to the hospital. If we can only take the pain from them right? That was heartbreaking . I was so relieved to see that nothing was wrong. I also wanna thank y’all for taking us along on the trip. I almost felt like I was there. It was very relaxing and breathtaking looking at the views. Hi from Colorado. I followed along on each of the blogs but this was just fun. You still and video photography skills are awesome. The trees you called "Alpine" trees I'm pretty certain were our Aspen trees. If you ever get the opportunity come see them in the fall. They turn pure gold! I smiled and laughed through this as much as I did the vlogs. Such wonderful memories you can all share forever. Thanks for taking us along.
Lol! Yes, Aspen trees. And they are absolutely stunning in the Fall when they are changing colors. Our family lives near the foothills (15 min from Denver, 10 min from mountains). We drive thru mountains every year to see them change. Natures beauty def surrounds us here.

Enjoyed seeing where I grew up. Was in Colorado till I was 13. We took many car trips, you did a great job showing off the beautiful land marks in Colorado. I always called it God’s country!😊

That was wonderful! Dude, how did you do all those drone shots? I drove all the way up Pike's Peak and it wasn't bad going up but going down was a different story. Kept it in 1st gear. About 2/3 the way down, they have a checkpoint and they check the temperature of your brakes. If they are over a specific temp (don't remember what it was) they make you pull over to a parking lot to cool them down. Fortunately we didn't need to do that. The summit of the mountain was outstanding!

Your country is very beautiful and so big! I live in Belgium which is about 320 km long for about 210 . Yes it is very small 😊 but we are lucky to have rapid landscape changes from beach to old mountains, very different building styles from invaders or use of materials. I remember a phrase on a American tv we can watch here « Belgium? The package surprise of Europe » 😂😂. 💖🤗

Enjoyed your trip. It took me 5 days to finish it 😅 it was great to see you all having fun. I too had a great insight of Colorado state. I have been there but it would easy to plan now. Kids are so well behaved and take on the adventure with you. Out of 4 kids who is more like Dean (funny, witty, crazy) and who is more like Andria (mature, planner, and the one who takes care of everything evertime)? I really loved this video! Especially since I’m from Colo (now live in SD because of grown kids). I miss Colo! Nothing like the mountains with snow! A fun vacation without motels! Love Mesa Verde. Did you see the cliff dwellings? I haven’t seen the petroglyphs-those we’re neat. Thanks!

Watching this brings back so much memories. We drove from Houston straight to Colorado. That was a fun trip for us well! The first time was in April and had some snow as we were going north. The second time was in May. You didn't stop by any Buccees??😅

I’m in Az so I know the heat and with the weather change your not kidding when you say it’s HOT. I can’t stand it anymore I’m talking 115* with 97% humidity. I don’t even want to hear anyone say oh it’s a dry heat 😂. Just stop it😂. It hasn’t been a dry heat since 2005. Even then I question who started that rumor. I don’t know how you are cutting wood in the heat. I have to tell you I would never use a spray gun again. Omg, I bought a Wagner paint sprayer at the Depot, I asked all the questions I could think of. We were going to try it out in the bathroom off the Master. You couldn’t see in any rooms near 50 ft. It was snowing in the house and you couldn’t breathe or swallow for weeks. It should warn you that you need a professional oxygen tank while you spray. I’m sorry to hear about your health. I have that but I’m afraid for you when you’re doing all that heavy lifting. Please watch yourself and a bladder prolapsing. Especially after 4 kids. Just be careful ❤️😍
I was enjoying this video until the clip of the young child in the toilet. Really inappropriate and exploitative of a young person. UA-camrs really need to think seriously about what they show their audience. I wonder what that little mind was taught by that action Dad. Really poor decision to film the kid peeing and then to publish it online where it can remain forever and without his consent I’m very sure!😡
