not only should you go back for one, but for a few extra bags! they look like great additions and personally i steer clear of chocolate on the trail though its yummy i've had multiple messes with it. One nice treat i've taken skiing or winter hiking is yogurt or chocolate covered expresso beans as they give you some sweet, crunch and some pep if your lacking, they also go well with nuts and dried fruit.

One snack I love to bring is oil cured olives because they don’t need refrigeration and have big flavor. A mix of oil cured olives and the super small grape tomatoes last for 3 days easily. So good!

Wish I could go back in time and tell my mother this, she used to make PB&J sandwiches for my school lunches that were soggy by lunch, to avoid PB&J getting soggy put Peanut Butter on both slices then add the jelly, PB forms a barrier that keeps the jelly from soaking through.

I LOVE COSTCO!!! Haven't tried the Almond Cakes yet, but I do love the Madelines sold in the bread section. They're individually wrapped and heavenly. The Australian licorice bites are so good; strawberry, mango, and watermelon. Kirkland Turkey jerky is yummy good. Regarding Almond Cakes - I make my own Almond loaf and cookie. There are a ton of recipes using almond flour that are delicious. That was a great haul Kathleen. I share your joy with their hot dog/drink combo.
