Persona 5 OST - Навчання та стиль
"$300 pink tracksuit he truly lost it" Self awareness is a blessing Argon!
Pretty hyped for the diy ASICS vid coming up, if it goes well for you it might be something I try myself
Will be a fun one for sure, looking forward to doing it
Thanks as always Antwon!
Been rocking the j91-ws since release and I absolutely love it! Been looking for that perfect warm jacket/insulator for about 2 years now and this matched everything I've been wanting
I picked a couple a Veilance pieces from Keller X and the price also included import fees to UK. I got an Isogon MX for around 50 percent off after signing up for premium membership. Definitely worth the 10 quid as it gives an 10 percent off all year round for all items including sale. I also got a pair of secant comp pants in concrete which are a bit of a mind blower. They are so thin and light yet warm. I wore them for a trip to town on a day that was about 5c with a few degrees wind chill and I thought I would be cold but they did as well as a pair of regular pants would. Isogon MX isn't as warm as I hoped and I think the MX designation is a bit misleading as I believe it to be very similar to the Gamma LT. The cut and massive pockets are great though and I am warming to it even though it doesn't warm me too much 😂
Picked up a j1b-gt and p30a-e from the 18mont sale, alr under retail and no import charges since 18mont is uk based. Probably the best deals I'll ever find on new acr
I don't know how popular or common is the concept behind a single brand outlet retail store is in other parts of the world such as the UK, but in the US, I am fortunate to have a North Face outlet store a couple of hours away. Last week, I was able to score an insane deal on a Black Series Mountain Light FUTURELIGHT coat for $271USD -- down from the retail price of $850USD. A waterproof, hooded, knee length coat with metal toothed zippers and fat zip tabs. Coat looks awesome!
nice, great find. w/ luck & timing there are gems from customer returns on high-end lines e.g. summit series, steep tech - that are mostly sold at signature locations/select markets only
the lookbook for the Veilance SS20 collection that the siltstone colorway is part of is still my fave thing they've ever done, I believe it was at a Mars training station. Never pulled the trigger on any of the pieces (despite how incredible the Partition coat looks esp.) because the fabric seems like something I really wouldn't enjoy but so great to finally see a review of it!
You definitely do Veilance justice with such thorough explanations. Wasn't a fan of the Nemis bomber at first but looking at the stitchings and color in close-up shots I've definitely warmed up to it.
Thanks! I think Veilance generally is one of those brands that makes a lot more sense once you have things in-hand or can actually try them on.
yo super excited for the dyeing vid. even if it goes super bad I think it'l make a good video!
The big pockets on the tracksuit is a road mans dream duel machete pockets
What an interesting haul! :D
I love the Arcteryx Atom LT as my mid layer for my Acronym jackets. It’s also incredible as a stand-alone jacket. I’ve been wearing it here in Poland as my main daily jacket when it is minus six and snowing.
It also looks fantastic.
Love the terratex fabric, the Arc'teryx Palisade are my comfiest pants!
excited to see the diy shoe dyeing.
dye them to match the Veilance set, for a full outfit.
Got an Adidas Terrex FWA Crew pullover for like 40€ on sale - not as high end as Acronym or Veilance but the fabric is really interesting in that it keeps you warm while not being overly thick or stuffy, and it has a cool velvety structure from the outside.
Just picked up some all white Asics Japan L’s on sale for $45, usually $75. Very excited to see what you do with yours!
excited to see the DIY dye job on those asics! i did my off-white prestos using the rit denim dye last summer and they turned out great IMO. remember that the color will most likely turn out lighter/duller than you see on the packaging or rit's website due to the different materials on the shoe. also i found that giving the shoes a few good squeezes while it's dying helps to coat more of the fabric. good luck!
Damn using an expensive shoe like that is a bold move! Glad they went well though. Really looking forward to showing off the results of the Asics - they're a pretty crazy colour now haha
Was expecting the J90-SS to show up here, looked great on your Instagram story
i got a arcteryx leaf cold wx lt couple month ago and imo the extra velcro patch and the arm zip made this just slightly cooler than regular atom ar
Shout out to This Thing of Ours..... Manchester in the area!
Anthouse about to flex on all the grandmas at the mall with that tracksuit. It is actually dope though, sweet pickups
Lol, the profit margins on that belt are nuts :D
"This is Amateurs Gone Wild" doing the steamy dance, I'm done 💀
I bought the same Acronym jacket (in another cw) when it came out ... and same feedback.
I am a tall slim guy and this jacket makes me look like a michelin guy, even with a loose bottom.
I took it in L, my natural size .. the sleeves would probably be too short in M and I doubt it would be significantly less bulkier.
The zips did not really feel like great quality either .. maybe I am missing something but the main zip was pretty hard to use.
Anyway the fit is the deciding factor and this is just bad. Cut the volume of insulation in half and this might have been my favorite jacket, but as it stands I just sent it back.
Will you do a review for the new system_a? Really looking forward to it
Hey Anton, would you be able to do a review on the adidas forum hi gortex? I wanna know your opinion on it! Awesome stuff!
Nemis is lowkey on fire bro
I couldn't afford Acronym so I got an Arcteryx Leaf atom LT. It looks trimmer than the J91-WS but more classic fit than a standard atom ar for sure. I recommend it. I'd try out the Arc'teryx LEAF Cold WX Jacket LT Gen 2 for colder weather
I went out and picked up recently 4 Polo Ralph Lauren goat 1 down, 1 camo bomber, 2 parka one black and one red.
I think you'd really like the J58-WS. I recently picked one up as my 2nd ACRNM pickup (J94-VT was the first), and it's just _so_ nice. Soft and cozy, plus it's got the elastic hem at the bottom and a very similar fitblock to this jacket, just not nearly as wide. Plus it's "the" Acronym insulator, so it should work well this winter. Currently counting the days until I can break out my NikeLab ACG and ACRNM pieces again. 😅
I think you're right! I actually nearly bought one used quite a while ago but it sold while I was still debating it 😓 would very much like to see more insulators like that.
J94 is an interesting first pickup, cool choice!
I just got a veilance nemis jacket. I also had the same issue with the jacket sleeve being a little too long. Did you ever get them shortened?
I'm copping an Adidas MyShelter but the long one as I like my outerwear to drape. It looks decent and futuristic. Is it good enough for performance?
My Black J91-ws is on the way (wish I got a deal like you did but oh well) but I feel I do like how ACR is giving more options for huskier body types. And we’ll see how it pairs with the J1W and hope I won’t look too marshmallow 😅
Yeah totally, I'm well in favour of luxury fashion brands being more inclusive and catering to different body types. Seen the J1W look awesome on bigger dudes
I got karma because of antwon awhile ago and I don’t regret it. Let’s me keep track of stuff I want easier
Maybe check out the AJ1 x Gortex. The resell is pretty low for a AJ1. The bone white / purple colour way just looks great!^^
i copped the veilance nemis jacket in the same color, size from haven as well. good thing they have more than one in stock.
Awesome! Hope you like it
just gotta ask, do you use those blackheads thingies? always see u with a red nose, and ur not supposed to use them on sebacous filaments.
Thanks for the video! I've actually been eyeing the J91-WS. How does the outfit look when layered with a straight fit hardshell like the J1A? They say it can compress to fit but I wonder if it actually feels comfortable/looks pleasing.
I only tried it under my J16 which looked fine although that has quite an oversized fit on me anyway since it's size L. I think my J1A (size M) would've looked super tight over the top. I returned the J91 yesterday or else I'd give it a go!
Love the J91-ws, can i ask how tall are you?
Another video of Antwon flexing 😭
How do you avoid fees and duties when ordering from Haven?
Hey Ant, if you‘re still in the market for a more urban looking winter jacket, you might want to check out the PHOTICs line made by Mammut (swiss arcteryx). Its basically a waterproof down jacket with laser fused stitchings and the down panelling looks really unique. Might be worth a shot / something that usually goes under the radar for many people.
Ooh nice, thanks for the recommendation!
These Vans have some strong Maharishi vibes
Yes!
I’m buying the Nemis but unsure on the size. How tall are you Antwon ?
i think dyeing the asics a dark green could be very cool
You should check out The North Face Thermoball midlayer, it's about 130 pounds.
try the haglofs roc gtx jacket you will love it i myself own it
I'm looking at the Nemis jacket for the upcoming spring season but I was wondering if Veilance fixed the bacon collar
I can confirm that they have! Neither of my SS19 or SS21 Nemis has the bacon collar.
Hey Antwon, do you live in the EU or UK? I came across this Swedish brand called Didriksons, and their piece called the “Dennis Pants” seem to check off a lot of tech wear pieces. Water resistant, stretchy, adjustable taper, some extra pockets, all while looking stylish and low key. And relatively affordable at $100/90 GBP
I ordered a pair but I live in the US so it’s gonna take a while for it to arrive. Hopefully I got my sizing right.
Ah cool, thanks for the recommendation! Never seen them before. Hope they turn out well for you - I agree they have a lot of nice qualities
Just pick up a 2 in 1 ACG from a guy in Uk, my all times grail
Very nice pickup!
hey man do you know of any teachwear guys who are on the big size who'd have any tips on techwear. im struggling as a lot of brands dont go up to my size
Definitely dye them olive!
Where Can i buy And Wander?
damn, you can carry your baguette's in that pink jacket
How does the J91 look layered under an outer shell with auxzip? Is this the warmest bottom layer they make for that system?
Its an amazing outer layer in itself, super warm just not waterproof, I think it looks waaaay to bulky under the j1w, picked one up over Christmas but I kinda want a j58 to go under it as it’s a bit more low profile
@@flexxnation6250 those seem like the same dimensions as the j91. I was thinking something more roomy like the j1l-gt or anything knee length
@@theinstigatorr same dimensions but a thinner PrimaLoft fill so it’s not so bulky. J1L is cool but I prefer the waist length acronym shells
Just get a J58-WS instead, the J91 is more or less just an inflated version of that. Plus, it’s pretty easy to find
That's exactly why I wanted this one tbh, similar to J58 but warmer. The 58 is still on the cards though
@@ThisIsAntwon came here to say this as well. The drawbacks of the J91 you mentioned apply to me as well but I love my J58 for this reason. I would definitely recommend it as a midlayer and it's kept me plenty warm in sub zero temperatures under a hardshell. It works well and looks great on its own as well!
The J91-WS looks great imo. Silhouette looks cool.
"I gotta be the most technical person in the office"
Come on Ant! Embrace the oversized!
Is that colour is intentionally femme?
I think the j91 looks great on you! But to each their own.
"Technical Dangle"
Dye them the same color as the pink stain.
Hello Argon
👋
I wanna look like a future prison guard is that so much to ask?
Was that an LED condom??!? 💀
time stamp? 😭
Vans are not made well enough to merit the $100+ price tag.
