8/5/2024 tapping in I grew up listening to this. These DJs were ahead of their time. DJ Irene, Richard Humpty Vision, Bad Boy Bill etc We’ve come full circle and hard style is once again popular in 2024 with Sara Landry kicking it off on a mainstream level (shes supposedly the first hard techno DJ to play at Tomorrowland) Back then we called it Progressive
Ive been listening to electronic music since 1994 when Apotheosis was around. I was fortunate to see Venom live many times. That being said, I love Tiesto. He's also been around for a very long time. The man deserves his just do.
This is right when deephouse was clearly distinguishing itself as a separate entity from hardhouse. And hardhouse was slowly becoming hardcore. This was probably one of the most musically diverse periods In EDM history.
Awww thank you thank you!!! This, along with 80% of all my other Cds were gone when the fuckin piggies impounded my car and I couldnt afford the impound lot costs!! Im downloading this rye here!!
Guys, don't bash Skrilex and Tiesto because they are more mainstream then Venom. Those guys are still great DJs. I hear where u r coming from, Venom has been awesome since like 90's, but the great thing about this scene is we are accepting of everything. I used to travel hard to see Venom play, but all 3 artists mentioned are off the hook. They are all great regardless of their commercial success. I don't know what my point is.... lets just love the music, eh?!? :-)
Vinyl... That's all I have to say about this. Fuck all this new wave digital disc, laptop driven, over sampled garbage. DJ's died off in the early 00's because this way is "easier" :(
