  • A year later I finally installed the full exhaust system by Leo Vince on my 2020 Kawasaki Z900! Leo Vince LV-10 slip-on fits perfectly with Leo Vince headers.
    ECU flashed by 2wheeldynoworks to support full system, 02 sensor and AIS has been deleted. Thank you for watching the install video, please like and subscribe!!

    Ah the good old "I hope I don't regret" after hearing it the first time😅😂 tells me enough about how loud it is. Installing mine today on my 2018 Z900 70kw

    Un-mount the cooler may have took some time but may gain alot of less frustration working between the engine and cooler fitting those 4 header connections.

    Sweet tyres. Looks like Dunlop sportmax Q3+ ? Is the warmup fast like street tyres or more for hot summer riding ? I been riding Pirelli angel GTII on my honda and stock tyres on my Z900. Pirelli feels tipping over to sudden but once settled in corner its stable. Dunlop Roadsport 2 are a tiny bit better then version 1. But i don't trust em at all due to much slipping when leaned over. But pretty stable tipping into a corner and not same surprise i have with the Pirellis. *Dunlop Roadsport v1 was notoriously bad tyres and outright dangerous i had on my Z800.

    • @SoloMCRider
      @SoloMCRider  3 роки тому +1

      Yes it is Dunlop sport max Q3+ , I took a nail on my tire last year so decided to go with better tire. Stock tire is not the best for cold weather specially where I live it gets cold 🥶.

    After installing the direct exhaust, there was an unpleasant smell from the pipe? Have you changed your fuel cards?

    • @SoloMCRider

    Morning mate, I just installed this on my '22 z900, and had issues with the mounting bolt to the frame behind the rear brake. It is hard to tell in the video but did you manage to get that screwed in or leave it out?

      @SoloMCRider  Рік тому

      Hello mate, first of all congratulations 🎉 on your new ride! I don’t remember having issues getting the bolt into the frame. Just make sure the headers are connected to the engine head properly ( seated/ aligned properly) hope that helps. Ride safe!

    I had a question: How did you screw the heat shield back on? It didn’t seem to have anywhere on the full system to screw on to but at the end you had it on.

    • @SoloMCRider
      @SoloMCRider  3 роки тому +1

      LeoVince Headers came with a clamp that goes around the exhaust pipe that has a screw hole on it so i was able to put the heat shield back on with one screw only. i have few people ask the same question so on my next vlog will show you guys. thank you for the sub. ride safe and cheers!

    Would I be able top put on the full exhaust on my z900 without flashing the ecu right away, or do you recommend flashing it then doing the full exhaust?

    • @SoloMCRider
      @SoloMCRider  Рік тому +1

      Of course you can install full system exhaust without ECU tune! I installed a full system on 2022 50th anniversary Z900 and bike runs perfect no check engine light or anything. A tune will have better air fuel mixture which result in better ride quality, depending on the tune you can unleash some horsepower!

      I got the ECU tuned before installing the full system. Bike runs great will full exhaust system, you can definitely tell the power increase! Akrapovic slipon on sounds amazing 🤩 that is probably why I’m getting poor fuel mileage because I’m riding the bike on lower gear to hear the sound lol but I enjoy the sound so much!!
      Hope you find a way to put your full system on soon! Enjoy 😉

  • @cmbiker
    @cmbiker 3 роки тому +1

    Sounds mean!!! When I first got my 2020 Z900 last summer I put on the same LV10 slip on as you. Then a few months later put on the full Akrapovic system. Now I'm kinda getting tired of the loudness as I ride day in and day out. Seriously thinking of putting the stock headers back on breadbox and all and putting the LV10 slip on back on. Wish there was a way to get the throaty mean sound of a full system, but at a reduced decibel level. Seems like it is all or nothing with this bike. I used to have a 2018 ZX6R and a 2013 GSX-R 750 and both had only slip ons and they sounded mean, but not overly obnoxious.

    • @SoloMCRider
      @SoloMCRider  3 роки тому +1

      I did even get the chance to ride the bike yet, I can tell it’s going to be painful after a while. If it gets really bad I will try to find a slipon with db killer, let’s get some ride in before thinking about future lol 😂

      @@SoloMCRider Defintely looking forward to a test ride video to hear how it sounds. I actually love the sound of my full exhaust, I just wish I could tone it down a bit. We'll see what I decide. Still on the fence and will give it more time and thought. BTW, I really like your content and especially the DIY videos.
