Day One Nitro Action from the 51st Annual Western Nationals | Perth Motorplex | Drag Racing |

Round Three of the Nitro Max series was quickly upon us, with a few casualties from the previous round (and subequent test days in the lead up to this event) we had a bit of a lighter field than last round but also saw the usual suspects back for more nitro fuelled racing.
This round brought along Kyle Putland in "Under Pressure", Anthony Begley back into the "Dark Knight" , Michael Brooks in the Front Engine Dragster "Nitro Mayhem", Matt Abel in "Nitro Thunder" and Andrew Katavatis the "Beach Bomb"!
Day One gave us 2 rounds of racing with Day Two holding a further 3, the two rounds proved to be enough to again put the cars to the test with Beg's having an almightly rear tyre blowout in the funnycar at 3/4 track, Broosky after major blower issues last round was fighting with keeping blower belts on the blower... and Matt Abel taking a close up look at the left hand wall for good measure! Never short of action with these cars!!
