These guys need some more fan support. The place looks near empty! Oh well, Im enjoying the sights and sounds here in WA state. PNW. Thanks to all you racers spending the big cash so others can enjoy. I would love to get down to see this myself one day. I am share this to all my door slamming fans. Big Fan 👏
I literally hate sports🤔🤔😥😥 But racing a 1/4 is the most exciting adrenaline fueled thing on planet earth!!!! If it gives you GOOSEBUMPS then its working👍😁😀 No need to explain.
A few (just a few) months late on the Vid. Do all the Pro Slammer cars run handheld starters? Here in the states the "Pro Mod" classes all run on board starters.
@@barretthompson4755 Thanks for the info. The only reason I ask is because some of the cars seem like it would be impossible to get a starter on, at least on the blower pulley. The video doesn't really show the starting procedure though.
Virtually the same starting sequence as a top fuel car, driver turns fuel pump on and the ignition switch and signals the guy with the starter to turn it over, they are my favorite cars to watch.
@@brandonsikes9166 Every car is a clutch car as every car needs a clutch to shift (auto or manual) and no you don't stage a clutch car while its grinding on its clutch. On car's without a 2-step, when its time to go you're on the brake and nail the gas and let the brake off at the same time. Some put some gas into it on the brake and wait to nail it but you rarely get a good start that way. Your auto clutch then shifts at whatever shift points your car management system is set to. Nobody runs a blower with a manual clutch. It's impossible to shift a blower car 2-3-5-6 times depending on length of track while maintaining top RPM. You'd be on the rev-limiter literally every shift and add 1-2 seconds to every run on an 1/8th mile and probably 3 on a 1/4.
@@LoociferZ I think you are confusing this to much with a regular straight shift vehicle these cars don’t have to use the clutch to shift only to launch you can watch in car on a pro stock car to see it work it’s the same process there as it is here
@@LoociferZ I also don’t think you understand what a clutch is a clutch is a different form of getting power to the transmission it doesn’t do any shifting it simply allows engine rpm to turn the transmission
Curious why you would think this? This class has been racing for many years in Australia and the top teams often have drivers and crew with high level experience in the NHRA. They are also racing 1/4 mile, not 1000ft.
Geoffrey Veale did you miss my comment on the aussy guys I have worked with that are bad asses and really great dudes?🤨 referring to my ET or MPH comment.... your promod cars are pretty much outlaw rules correct?you not only allow the PSI crew blower you guys allow the “C” rotor PSI witch is a lot bigger than our NHRA TA/FC & TAD use the D rotor. You do not have overdrive rules by the size of the top pulleys I see on your cars!! Your cars hall but don’t get me wrong but for the outlaw rules I would expect some 5.40s or even a high 40. The DA down under can’t be much above seal level and the humidity doesn’t seem high so I would expect more!! We got guys over here running your NOONNAN black hawk2 heads setting records with a lot less over drive on a lot smaller blower!

Better looking cars and different than in the states
Can't wait for vb to return!
Music to my ears
I'M A PRO MOD NITROUS FAN...BUT THAT "HUFFER" ON THE '57 CHEVROLET IS A SCREAMER! "GOOD DOWN UNDER" VID!
Emmett Cunningham Jr. It’s called a PSI “C” rotor🤣 and by the size of his tiny top pully I would say it’s about 250% over 🤣🤣🤣💪🏼
Thanks for another choice video.

Keys did an alright job for racing during testing
That Noonan stuff is 💪🏼stout
They should have a push mower class, no prep.
The fact that your suggestion has been ignored is nothing short of criminal.

are they leaving off a clutch ?
They run a torque converter
Some run clutch and some run converter
im in my corner
Car fast
First stage was the weirdest blower stage in the history of man. He had it redlined before everyone was double bulbed.
That’s how you stage a clutch car

You would think given the outlaw rules and screw blowers these guys run they could be a lot faster.

Geoffrey Veale honestly the Noonan stuff is probably the best alky stuff on the market.
