Great video. I’m currently doing a level 1 plumbing course and your videos are amazing. The amount of effort and commitment is great. Thanks for making these mate.
Another great instructional video!! Paper instructions are you friend and don't usually let you down. I watch all your video's, but rarely comment. This one was definitely worth commenting on. Any more interviews with manufacturers lined up? I've recently started watching Time With James. The flying vids are quite interesting, especially since duxford is so close to me. Have an awesome day mate!!

I saw your recent clip on Instagram and I thought I'd recognised the guy in the pub with you. He doesn't live in Exning by any chance. If it is him, I helped install his new kitchen a fee years ago.
Great video thanks and would be good to know what differences there would be for a bath fill along with shower. Crosswater now provide 2 pressure balancing valves for installation on input supply!
I know I'm late to the party on this, but would that mean for a combi boiler you don't have to worry as much about a balanced pressure, as the hotwater pressure out the combi will be the same pressure as that from the cold water mains? anyway?
Hi I have a digital shower that has stopped working. The power on buttons light up but seems like the pump isn’t powering up. Could it be that the signal from on button isn’t reaching the main box in our attic?
Hey James, for a future video, it would be AMAZING for you to do a saniflo toilet install... I have one in my house... In Scotland but I am holding tight though
Hello mate, nice channel! just come across your vids. I've just sign up to a course to do my NVQ level 2.. do you do your work to the "UK standard" and are your vids likely to help me in my studies?
i have flexis on my water softner it feeds the whole house, they are a much smaller bore tho, will this affect my flow through the house ? is that why you dont like flexis
I’ve a whole House got & cold boost bump on a gravity fed system. Can I still use this? I’m presuming get same pressure on hot and cold. I’ve a salamander rhp50 twin. Pump is 1.3-1.5 bar depending on lpm
Awesome video! I have been following you for the past weeks all the way from Belgium taking notes on all your advices. I especially love the clipping system that you use to fix together your floor heating system. Is it possible to purchase it from Belgium are we must absolutely be in the UK?
Crosswater also do a low pressure version which include a brushless pump delivering 1.5bar... www.crosswater.co.uk/product/mpro-dual-outlet-shower-/-shower?variant=23300
@@plumberparts From crosswater website ...If you have a booster pump fitted, you’ll need one of our high-pressure digital shower products. Showing twin pump externally installed. So.. What's the truth here?
With the vented systems with the pump built in how strong is the pump? I have a power shower at the moment and love the idea of a digital shower. Would it be case of removing the pump and essentially fitting the unit at that spot and would the pressure be about the same? The pump sits on the floor under the built in vanity next to the shower at the moment.
Never had a problem with using analogue showers and don't see the point of adding something that could definitely cause more problems and faults. What's the actual advantage of digital showers ?
Hot water gets priority over heating so you can’t do both if you have heating on them you turn on a hot tap the heating turns off this is due to a diverted valve inside your Combi boiler if you have a S or Y plan you could do both but you don’t.
Hi Caroline. There’s always a bit of ‘spring’ in the pipe. That should be enough for you to turn off the water and slip them out for cleaning. Have a wicked day! 😎
Can anyone estimate roughly how much that cylinder+pump+shower mixer can possibly cost to put in the loft of newbuild? Sick and tired of that electric shower pressure. Please
Wow, those are expensive showers! Picked up a triton digital mixer from Screwfix a little while back, just £250ish and easier to install as the controller is wireless - no drilling needed. I guess the difference will be in 5 years when yours is still working!
Fitting these shower mixers is a last resort - the only option. Apart from gimmiks like starting the shower outside the enclosure, I cannot see what they offer over a normal, simple, quality concealed mixer. Do not get me wrong, in some cases they will be the way to go making matters much easier for installation, but few and far between.
It seems that crosswater have given up on this digital shower, and not make them any more. hardly surprising as the forums are full up with people with problems after only 2-3 years
Avoid digital stuff despite the headline salesman BuSt about energy saving and convenience... same as superfluous stuff in cars/toasters.. it may be modern and funky.. but.. electronics will fail sooner than you think (many are built/designed to fail after x^n ).. and then cost a bloody fortune to fix, or marginally less expensive to buy the new model.. which will also be designed to last marginally longer than the warranty... wake up!!!!
Great video. I’m currently doing a level 1 plumbing course and your videos are amazing. The amount of effort and commitment is great. Thanks for making these mate.
Cheers for the vid, Jimmy. I've still yet to install a digital shower so these vids are super helpful. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Excellent step by step, even I might manage that 👍

quality work. i too only use copper when i can.
Very helpful thank you
Excellent video, very clear and helpful. Have subscribed and will check out some of your other work.
Love the video. great shower unit. all we need is bluetooth.
Can you purchase the dual outlet high pressure digital valve box separately as we have damaged a customers and need to replace it.
Great video and very clear, but could you explain why I can't fit the digital box in the bathroom closer to the shower?
Hi Kieron. You can if you like. There’s nothing really stopping you. 👍
Awesome video james
Great video thanks and would be good to know what differences there would be for a bath fill along with shower. Crosswater now provide 2 pressure balancing valves for installation on input supply!
How is this different to a combi boiler, as I love this idea of a digital shower.
So, quick quick question, my builder wants to go All electric and not have a Combi Boiler, do I need a combi for this? Thank you!
Excellent video! I was wondering if you have a video for a shower with 6 body jets? I have no Idea how to do the pipe work.
Just don't bother...only Delboy has showers like that and they ALWAYS leak!
On your mini flexi connector... you just got the nut and swagging out the end to the 15mm copper then nut side, flare out the end so the nut stays on?
Wicked mate as always

Hello James,
Great videos keep them coming!
Where can I get this particular shower kit from? Has it been discontinued?
Thanks

Will these work with a combo boiler. Meaning pressure or will you need to fit a salamander?

It will restrict because of smaller bore. But I prefer hard pipe because it shows a Pro was there (kinda!)
770 quid for a mixer OMG. I went with the mira mode you installed 6 months ago 😎

H9w do you fix a combi boiler when I turn on both water and heater only water works and when I only put heaters on then they turn on

Makes me chuckle . On so many videos you say “it’s so annoying “ through gritted teeth 😬.
So can you show me how you get to clean out the inlet filters with all that rigid pipe work please? 🤨 Hopefully you have a solution?

Soldering pretty close to them speedfit fittings bud 😂😂 should be 450mm away. Sorry mate I couldn’t help myself staying that but good video dude.
What’s the minimum pressure/flow to install a unvented cylinder, cheers
Great video mate ! Although I think my human rights were breached at the end.🤔
are you related to Colin Furze ? both crazy funny
What is the benefit of a digital shower? I understand what the difference is...but don’t get why the digital one was developed.
Did you remember to bring a towel 😂
That’s another story!
I thought he was a serious professional until I watched his bizzare intro !
I’ve never been serious!
My opinion stick with Mira digital showers, they are probably the best value for money

No cat was ever early. Going by Big G here...
@uB Precisely. What most people also falsely assume, is that they are the bird in the equation in any given metaphorical situation.
You forgot the D2 pipe 😂
