I'm from Wisconsin. First off, I love the videos! I've never been down south and never fished the ocean. I watch your whole crew. Brent and beach bum. Ok, so I'm rooting for Tennessee over Ohio state. Being a Badgers fan, I'm not a fan of Ohio St. I know we had a very sad season. Enough said! The weather here in Midwest has been strange this year. It's hit -25 below zero already, but today, it's middle to upper 30s. 3 to 4 inches of snow overnight tonight. So 32° and below the next couple of days. Do not have any plans for Xmas. My wife works in medical, so works Xmas Eve and day we are staying at home don't have much family. She might stop by her parents and I will watch Xmas day nba. I don't have family but my wife and 21 year old daughter. Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a great New Years! Thanks for the videos. Keeps me looking for summer. Oh, it might be dumb cause I never see you guys use them, but how about using floats or a bobber.
Haven't seen your buddies come down to check you out here lately I'm beginning to think I'm watching the wrong podcast we're counting on you guys to help us through the winter
I'm originally from Terrell Texas but was mostly raised in Greeley Colorado. Now I currently live here in Fort Collins Colorado. Current temp is somewhere in the 40s
You need to use a bobber figure out whatever depth you want and use a bobber. It will help you see the action on top even if it’s a little higher than you want you’ll still see the bobber move. I think you called them corks lol !!! 🧨🧨🧨
I use strike indicators when fly fishing. They telegraph line movement when the line is not tight. Small ones work great so long as they contrast well with the ambient light.
Instead of pulling straight up to set the hook, slowly reel the slack point rod tip towards the line and pull sideways or basically same thing just reel real fast
But seriously, you guys are doing everything I can see to do. 1.Sun baked areas near channel, 2. The 'eddy seam' near the bridge structure, 3.A+ bait. 🦀=🐟 (😎🌴💯)
If it was me, fishing there, I would stay quiet and concentrate on the movement of my line. But I guess that would take all the entertainment out of your videos. 😊
I think when you cast the spot, you should try to keep your line taught even if you try not to drag it. I think you should keep it taught now you could feel any taps instead of just looking at the line which of the current is moving in a lot you might miss bites, but if you keep it as tight as you, could you have a better chance of Feeling something.
Yeah, I like the people that have boats fish more land base because all of us know that boats are holes to throw money in and out. Everyone has money to throw into the boat hole. and plus Fishing onshore is faster. You could zip to a spot and get out of your car go fish you don’t like it. You zip back to the car you go to another spot and then when you’re done for the day, all you have to do is walk to your car get and go home and you’re done and you saved a lot of money. My friends just won $2000 and bought a boat. I told him that the boat is a hole to throw money into but they didn’t believe me so far. I think that 2000 cost them close to 3000. and that’s only within the first three weeks of having the boat and plus I like fishing on shore better nothing is moving around. You could talk to other people if you don’t wanna keep the fish if somebody’s there looking to catch food to eat I like to be able to just give them some fish that I don’t want anything. It’s just more fun..🎣😎
Brad as far as football I am in to NFL so I can't help you with your football pick you allso asked about the weather is we're I am at it is around 70 here in SC but we're I am is 4hours from saltwater I use to live in NJ right on the saltwater about 100 feet from my back yard I watch your videos every time I can I like your catch and clean and cook videos

I agree SEC is usually best conference. I’m a fan of IU, Boise State and Clemson, but Big 10 is my pick for this year. I’m picking Oregon to win it.

Brad you should pay more attention to fishing and less time with the commentary. I'm not criticizing you just an observation.
You tried to give him tips and he’s the only one that caught a fish using his way 😂😂🤫🐟
