I think most aegs max at 11.1v so if anything maybe your gun is over voltage if it's meant to take a lower voltage. Should check your owners manual on which voltage it should take. I think most gearboxes might get hot too since they are compressing so much air so quickly.

I ordered mine just yesterday but I need it because my ssr4 runs hot with the recommended 11.1 battery would that be under voltage?
