This vídeo is great!! Could you show me how to separate images in different mats
Amazing! Thank u!
THANK YOU! This was exactly what I needed!!
Hi Kayla, your videos have helped me so much in getting more comfortable with Design Space and using my machine. I have a question. I wonder if this slice/contour combination could be used to cut or hide shapes that are part of the design that touch other parts in that design and not just the basic shapes provided in the program. For instance, making the baseball a different color than the M letters in MOM. Assuming the MOM is one color and not having the ability to hide the Ms, how or could this be done? Thank you for your simple concise examples and explanations.
I love your channel! You are so easy to understand and follow!
Heidi Miller thank you! I’m so glad!! 🥰 I have more cricut design space tips and tricks that I’m excited to share. Hopefully I’ll get those out really soon!

Thanks for the video on contouring this has helped me to understand a lot. Would you mind doing a video of layering HTV? I seem to have a little difficulty with this one the most.

great video and nicely explained...thank you
Great info!!
Andree Peters thank you!! ❤️
Great video! Could you explain what "principle vinyl" is? You mentioned in 7:09 on your video. Also, you mentioned that one can also make coasters with an image, could you elaborate on that? Do you print it on picture paper on a laser printer and this just stick it somewhere? What role does the cricut have besides cutting the shape? Thanks! I have always wondered what you can do with a picture. Do you have a tutorial for the Cut & Print upload feature?
Thank u
Very informative.
Thanks
Hello I'm very new to circut. I love the way you explain how to do things. I would like to know how I upload a pic that is already in the images on cricut design? Where do they go or stored?
Hi a good video, thanks. If I want to make a card with a heart cut out on the front, but text remaining held on to the heart frame edges, how do I do this please? Many thanks
Hi, when i upload my unicorn image with the word birthday and insert image, then highlight the whole lot, contour was not enabled. why is that. Thank you very much. Newbie here
Awesome tutorial....thank you soooo much....I get it now...newbie .,,,can you tell 😊
Hey Kayla. The last example you used with the complex image of the heart, married couple, how can I print an image like that and keep my Cricut from cutting each one of those shapes within the heart?
I don’t know how to print then cut on images that are cut files. I know how to select the image, and select the option at the top of design space to print. However, it still comes out where the Cricut cuts every minuscule line and I just want Cricut to cut around the image. Thanks
After contour, how do you put all together to make one piece if I weld it it changes color again
I love, love, love tips and tricks!!!!! This video was awesome. I've done slice and contour before but I can always learn more. Thanks!!!!!! Can't wait for the next one! How about the knockout since they changed DS?
I'm so glad this video was helpful!! :) Have you tried using a different browser for the knockout text? On chrome it doesn't work for me but when I open up Cricut Design Space on internet explore it let me save it. I hope that could work for you!
@@KaylasCricutCreations thanks
When you upload an image and it won’t fit in your machine (a yellow triangle is showing on the upper rt hand of the layer panel) like mine is only a Cricut Joy, how do you make the image fit to my Joy machine? Thanks.
You mentioned how you can "print" the image of your photo, but I don't understand how you'll print it. Can you please make a video to demonstrate that from start to finish?
Hi! I can"t seem to select both shapes, when I click one it unselects the other, any advice?
My Cricut machine is not giving me the Select Image Type ...... could i be doing something wrong? Great tutorial ,hope to hear from you soon. Thank you
Hi Kayla i would like to know how to make my own SVG
I just bought a Cricut. No clue what I’m doing! So this is life changing!!! lol
I have had mine (Air 2) for a month now and I have dabbled with it. It is a great tool once you get started. I am not worried about the machine, I just want to understand DS as it is the key to getting the designs/creativity rolling. Happy crafting!
I’m so glad it was helpful!!! :) hopefully the other ones will be as well. There’s definitely a learning curve with the cricut but once you get design space figured out it gets sooo much easier!
I was wondering how you can select the last item with the heart and cut out the outline of it?
im trying to put a raiders sign inside of lips with teeth and its so frustrating i wish i could upload tge images here so you cou,d see what i talking about.
How do i change an item from internet into vector cut file using cricut maker
I love how you go slow and explain each step. The only thing I was wondering if you could make your pointing arrow a little bigger. I've had my cricut for a long while but never worked with it. I'm trying to download S.V.G. files off of Pinterest. I guess you could say I'm a nubby.
Jodie Perrin Jodie Perrin hi! Thank you! I can definitely see if I can figure out how to make my mouse bigger. I’ll look on my computer setting and hopefully I can find it. It would make it easier to see where I’m clicking. There’s is a lot to learn with the cricut! When downloading an SVG off of Pinterest you’ll want to find where to download it off of that site. Once you download it you need to go to that file on your computer and right click and extract the files. It should open up another folder. When you click in there you might have to right click and hit install. Then it’ll be available to use in design space. Hopefully that’s helpful.
@@KaylasCricutCreations Thank you
👏👏👏
With the black and white pic...what do u do with that? Does the marker print/draw it for you? How does Cricut do actual pictures? Sorry im new to the Cricut world lol. I opened mine up, went to design space and was immediately overwhelmed and almost took it back, feeling like im never going to figure this thing out! But i subscribed to your channel and im going to give it a shot!!
Nana there’s definitely a lot to learn at first!! There’s a learning curve but it gets easier. YouTubing helped me a lot and I joined some cricut Facebook groups where I could ask questions :) with the black and white picture you can do print then cut like you said. The cricut will prompt you to print it first then it will cut it out. You can use printable vinyl material to print it on. Hopefully that helps and you can start using it 🙂 💕
I was try to do what u did in the video, about selecting the square and the hearts. You said you press the control. When I press the control nothing happens. I have a Mac. Can u explain
Hi! I have a windows computer so it must be different. I would try command instead of control and see if that works.
How to make a diagonal bigger than cricut work space
I would love to see how you put this on a shirt!
Can u use cricut with ur picture
Hi! yes, you can use the print the cut feature to make something with the picture :)
My contour button is not working? Please help
Go to your video to 3 minutes, and that is where u are talking about control and welding to hearts
Thank you!
