That generation SV blows away the current model IMO.
Agreed.
Think I'm buying this bike tomorrow. Found one in Cali, 2003 w/ only 10,000 miles on it, PERFECT condition and maintenance records. He wants $2500, hoping to get it for $2000. Would be my first street bike purchase, ever.
Did you bought it how it is , here at my country there is just a few of these in bad condition still i will wait a bit
@@darkmagician2730 The one I went to go look at, I didn’t buy it. It was a 2003, and I think he wanted $4000 for it. Too much. But I did in fact buy an SV650 anyway. A 2018. Brand new, no miles, $5800 out the door. Very happy with it, it’s been amazing so far.
@@TopshelfJunior thanks for replay ,that is very good price, it cant go in my head that here that bike new is almost 8000 €

I'm a cbr954rr rider but this Suzuki is sweet gotta love that v twin sound with after market exhaust!🧐
Never drove one of them. Had gsxr but I must say it’s nice and still looks very modern today.
It's a twin. You're bike is seriously faster. But the sv650 low end numbers are scary for track day rookies anything from a 750
That thing is sexy. I love the suspension, sound and overall look.
What a great bike wow
It is a very nice bike, thanks Suzuki
the curvy model, previous one is much closer to TL1000S, SV650S even more
Beautiful bike there's one for sale in my area oh my gosh I can't do it right now
Awesome review, loved the discussion! You mentioned (1:06), that the breaks were improved, does it have ABS?
After 2007 they have abs and double ignition
@@malcolm2527 not exactly, after 2007 they START to have abs, but still many 2007 models are without abs, since it was optional.
@@leoglasmeyer2853 thats why i said after. But youre right
Nice bike. And cool video with heavy d. I live 30 min from Pittsburgh.
I want this bike! But for some questions. What is the fuel economy when you ride normal? And i see the front part of the motorbike is not really protected. Is there a longer frontmudplate available? Or a plate for the engine part?
When you ride it normally you get about 50mpg. On the front there is already a relatively small mudflap which does its job rather okay. Sure you'll get some dirt on the engine but nothing significant i wouldn't worry about it too much. If you still have some questions feel free to ask me since i own that bike
Mine does between 4l/100km to 5,5l/100km depending on the riding style. Have a low cowl to protect engine from dirt and debris. 0-60 under 4sec and rock solid reliability
@@rem362saying you won the auction? I've liked the look of this model since it first came out. Ready to sell yours?
Anyone knows what brand exhaust is that?
Buena moto yo tengo las 2005
What exhaust is this?
I have one loved... But lately is cutting off when I'm riding her. What can be... I need help please 😭
After Rain it runs bad. Because water gets in the front cylinder. Try new sparkplugs and a valve adjustment.
And you Need to rip her when shes warmed up
I didn't pay attention to that, but most of time is on a sunny day, I'd check out . Thanks
@@JoseVargas-vp1ov np try high grade fuel. Maybe there is some water in the Gas tank
I thought 2004 was the year that they switched over to fuel injection?
It was 2003
06 was when they added 2 plugs per cylinder
