Thanks for watching! If you enjoyed this video, I’d really appreciate it if you’d give it a ‘thumbs up’, and please think about subscribing to the channel - I’ve got SO much more to show you! Thanks, all! ❤
Valencia is possibly my most favourite Spanish town! I love the architecture and the vibe that the place has I think it's a really nice mix of student town and modern city. It's probably the city I would like to settle down in if I ever manage that!! So good to see that you enjoyed it anyway 🙂❤️
I've heard good things about Spain from some friends...and I can see why...quite wonderful. What? a church charging for entry...never! Guess they missed the part about the money changers being thrown out of the temple and that salvation is free! It's okay, being budget conscious means you get to do more! lol Really enjoying what I am seeing from Costa! Wonderful! Bruce and Otis
Hi Fraser. Still catching up after returning from our Aurora cruise! Lovely to see Valencia again, it was one of our favourite ports on our 2014 Med cruise. I just wish I’d known you’d be there in advance, because I would have suggested also to visit indoor market (Mercat Central de València) and to try an Agua de Valencia; a cocktail of cava, orange juice (yes your Mum was right!), vodka and gin. Like a Bucks Fizz, but much more alcoholic and very addictive 😊
Hi Zoe, thanks for this! You’re playing to my strengths there by recommending something addictive and very alcoholic there, ha! I did love Valencia - caught me totally off guard! Thanks for watching - how was Aurora?!
@@FraserAtSea The food was first class most of the time but disappointing sometimes. The MDR on a previous trip was nearly as good but the YC service was first class. The butler, bar, sun deck and room were all great, great, great 👍
Was in Valencia with P&O earlier this year. The cruise line made it clear that you had to take a shuttle bus (no pedestrian access through the port) and that therefore the shuttles were free.
Hi Fraser - yep, I’m still following your exploits. Was sailing around the Med back in June and also found Valencia to be a great city port. That futuristic waterscape/museum area especially . . . WOW! Did a fair bit of filming there myself. I think you did the place justice in your video. Re: Costa. Had never considered sailing with them - particularly following the Concordia episode, but I think you’ve now open my eyes a tad. Your comment about the quality of their food was enlightening. No mention of how their eggs Benedict were though, lol? Might just have to give them a shot in the near future. Anyway, keep up the good work. 👍🏼
Ade, hello! Always so great to see your name pop up - hope you’re good :). I absolutely loved Valencia - I was so surprised with how stunning it was - I’d go back in a heartbeat. I hate to say it, but there were NO Eggs Benedict available on Diadema - how did I cope, I know…!! 😂
I love your cabin. May I ask why you chose a balcony instead of inside cabin this time? Do we have other balcony cabins to look forward to? Thank you so much for sharing! ~Inge 😺
Did I hear you say they have a country club in Costa, as in Country Music? That’s so interesting being that it is an Italian line. Is that genre popular in Europe? Of course we love our country music in the U.S.
I found this so interesting too - very unexpected. I wouldn’t say it’s too popular in Europe, but there is a market for it, for sure. The venue itself on here is a mix between country and rock - well worth a visit!
I totally agree about charging at the churches but I would like to think it is being used for upkeep of the churches the outside looks good in the video and if anyone would say to all it is being used for upkeep or wasted would be you so no one else will waste there time or money just looking at all sides of things

Gorgeous sunset…a reminder that life is good!
Oh, I totally agree - one of life’s little pleasures!
Really enjoyed this video. Have to agree, Valencia is stunning and that city park is so beautiful to walk through.
Hey Joanne, one of my favourite ports, for sure!
Hi Fraser, thanks for another amazing video. I’m really enjoying your vlogs. Best wishes from Brisbane
Thanks so much, Elizabeth! Hope you’re well!
All well here thanks and looking forward to our next cruise in March 24. 35 nights to Hawaii and Tahiti. Should be great.

This is EXACTLY what I said when I phoned my parents from the city - I could easily settle there over any other city. Glad you enjoyed it too!
Hi Fraser! Enjoying Valencia from Toronto 🇨🇦

Ha, this comment made me laugh - I know, right?! Glad to hear you’re enjoying so far!
Great video! So close to 5K 🤞
Thanks Tony, and thanks for noticing - nearly there!

We’ve just come off the Virtuosa Yacht Club and that food looks better than we had there 👍
Oh, hello! It really was so tasty! How was YC for you?!

McDonalds is a solid choice for coffee. Less than €1.50 for a barista made coffee in the Italian ports I've visited this week too!
Plus a nice change from the dubious coffee Costa serve onboard.
Yeah, I do always really love a McDonald’s coffee - such great value! Thanks so more for watching!!

Ah, that’s interesting - it wasn’t so clear with Costa, but I was glad to find the bus waiting for us!

I opted for a balcony here through a partnership with Costa, so YES - lots more to look forward to. Thanks for watching!

Oh and one more thing... I spent a very very long afternoon drinking vermouth for the first time at a bar across from the farton shop! 😂😂😂😂
Ha, please tell me you made it back to the ship (if you visited on a cruise)…!!

Yeah, totally agree - really good points. I’m sure it is used for upkeep to be honest, but I just begrudge paying the fee. Thanks for watching!!
