Winter Is Coming | Here's how I PREP my OUTDOOR plants to come inside for the winter 🌨

Over the summer I usually put about 30 of my houseplants outside. I see such tremendous growth when they get great light and lots of warm humid days. We live in Omaha, NE in zone 5b and our summers get quite hot!
The plants sit on a south facing covered porch, most are in bright shade ( brightly lit but no direct sun rays touch the leaves) and they usually at least double in size over the summer.
As the temps drop it's time to bring them inside. I really dislike insects so I do my best to prepare the plants to leave all the creepy crawlies outside where they belong.
I've been using this method for the past 5 years and am happy to report i've never noticed any insects indoors! 🙌
