Ifa is a Yoruba divination system . Ifa is also synonymous with the Orisa known as Orunmilla who is the revealer of destiny and the Grand Priest of Ifa.

@@prophecy505 I have heard that Ifa is the Voice of OLODUMARE. That makes the connection to Orunmila and his role as an Orisha make sense.
....There is an unnamed presence that I am trying to understand its essence and identity. I have written about it many times but I didn't have a name for. So I am down to Ifa as an initiator.

@@prophecy505 ok just wondering because I started my journey a while ago and I had a reading done and the babalawo said I was destined to receive my hand in IFA and a buddy of mine said not everyone gets that privilege. However I didn’t get any more info after that about what it is and how does it work etc etc so I lost touch with him and stopped my journey. Then people kept telling me all he wanted was my money and that Nigerians were scammers etc so I just stopped all together and stopped studying and research for myself. So that’s why I asked you.
