Thanks for this review. I will be needing new shoes soon. I also have a fairly wide forefoot, which has made it difficult finding a good fit. I will definitely be looking into Fitville shoes.

Thank you for reviewing these shoes. Wide feet are hard to fit. Very grateful to hear about these.

Those look like pretty good shoes Mark. I normally wear my shoes to the point I end up walking right out of them. I find I have trouble when looking at new sneakers finding anything that doesn't have a pointy toe so I always go with classic Adidas. I've had great luck with Merrill low cut hikers. I wear those for 80% of the year only going to sneakers on the hotter days. I think I am only on my second pair in around 15 years. Thanks for sharing the Fitville's Mark. I'll check them out.

Hi Steve. I know what you are saying. If I get something that fits my feet, I wear it until they fall off knowing the annoyance I will go through finding something new. Thanks for commenting

C width with a AA heal is what I have to look for and obviously do a lot of looking. Used to be a B with a AAA heal. The years have spread my feet a bit. By the time I'm 100 years old I might be able to easily find a fit. Have a little trouble with man made materials too. Good old leather interiors don't overheat my feet. All my shoes and boots are expensive but my feet thank me.:)

Hi Mark. Thanks for sharing. It is always good to learn about well-made and well-priced shoes that fit a variety of sizes and purposes. I'm looking for some new active shoes and their website looks to have a good selection. The sizing guide is useful. Cheers.

G'day Mark, first up, so pleased to see a nice understated black, loud flouro jobs have gone nuts here and not just the teenagers LOL.
I did know a sheila in the sports shoe game, her take was; always buy quality running shoes for walking, since they're made to be more cushioned, supportive and durable. Ok fair enough, but; I'm with ya mate, I dont want to pay for pro runners just to walk around town, (or indeed waste mileage on my trail shoes and boots for that matter). These look ideally made and priced for the application. I'd certainly be interested in a longer term review sometime.
Btw; I dig Keen, their signature toe guard looks a bit odd, but a very, very worthy feature IMO, both in terms of protection for ones toes and the durability in construction. In fact my Bison 2 sandals have been my most worn footwear in the past, say, 5 years, I wont say still like new, though not too far off it and didn't cost a fortune either, (around 120 AUD from memory).
    Cheers Duke.

Hi Duke. I am shopping for new hiking boots to replace my lighter weight Keens. Been looking at OBOZ. Will likely stay with Keen though. Thanks for commenting

It's worth a conversation. If you walk in the woods you would want to good shoes so why not take care of your feet all the time. Especially if you have foot problems or getting up in age. We gotta keep moving.

So, would you consider the shoes to be a "step" in the right direction? 😉 Fortunately, I’m able to get my shoes through the Veterans Hospital here in the US. Apex is the name of them. They are designed for those of us with diabetes. I’m on my feet all day, and they do help. Insoles do come in handy with relieving some of the pain. My shoes look similar to your shoes. ✌️🇺🇸🇨🇦✌️PS: my shoes are also slightly wider.

sad that this manufacturer has its production in China and does not offer intermediate sizes.

I did not know that. I was under the impression most sport shoes are made in China with the exception of the high-end ones. Thanks for commenting
