Great video, I love Rubi and Rubi tools are great, I know they've been pushing these porcelain gauge panels for a few years now but they're just not practical. Showers have to be totally huge and if they're not it's going to be hard to maneuver and those tools are great but they're still going to have to pick it up at some point. The grabos work great for that stuff and you just have to be super super careful and go slow. We just had some 4 ft. by 8ft.delivered to a job site and they were on a wooden A-frame and they take the drivable forklift off the back and they put them up on where you want them, sure some companies do with the other way. The shower was 12-foot ceilings so it kind of worked out but that's not the norm. 4 ft x 2 ft and 32 in square for example is really as big as you need in a shower. Even in high-end high-end home you rarely come across a 12-foot ceilings unless there's a certain type of builder in a certain area that constantly does that on high-end homes than maybe but I've never seen it. I just don't see this ever taking off taking off like porcelain plank tile. Also most people do not want to order waste because to order another piece it's basically a minimum of $1,500 a piece.......well see, awesome video!

Thanks for your feedback! Tile slabs are starting to become more common. I have installed over 80 Slabs so far, 2 projects on the exterior of custom homes, and 1 shower. I agree, i don't see them becoming as popular as plank tiles, mainly because it's a pricey installation. But I do think it will continue to grow in the high end custom home world. They are pricey to purchase, pricey to install, and takes a pricey initial investment to purchase the required tools. Even with all the tools, they are a beast to work with and takes a learning curve to get used to them. I don't particularly like installing them🤣 just because they're so big and pricey, but I would install them again, I would just make sure the price is worth the effort👌👌. I've never had these tools on my projects, just 2 suction cups, a saw horse table, and a handheld saw😁👍. I was able to make do, but if I get another project installing these, I'm definitely buying the slab system...just alot easier, faster, and safer👍
