Can you please tell me how do you orientate on distance ? is it muscule memory or you look at it ? How did you get that skill ? I am asking this questions because I want to do same ! Respect !!!
I couldn't believe it's 800mm frame. That power. You should put a massive gimbal with dslr on this thing and do some crazy shots :-) (and some landing gear obviously)

I'm wondering if you could get even more thrust by adding another 3-4inches to the prop dia? I guess that slides everything else (motor kv, esc demand etc. But it would be run to see x-class built out to it's optimum :)

Wow, even though this is 12s the motors are struggling. It really needs the Rcinpower 4715, the T-motor f1000 or the xing 5215 to shine. I saw a link in aliexpress with the xing 5215 330kv at only 60$. This price is lower than the 4214, awesome. (If you want it just ask me, i put it in the wish list LOL).
People getting similar speeds are running like 350 min. Also top speed means almost nothing, unless you're flying an oval, turning faster will win you a race.

Doesn't IFlight's XING 4214 400KV motor support 3~8S? What will be the effect if I apply 12S to the xing motor?
You can use 12s if you use a thinner prop like Gemfan

How are they struggling? It’s very responsive and you can hear the rpm is high and “healthy”.
