Nurse Deo and Nurse Tembie, thank you for this information. I have been contemplating moving to Aussie to do travel nursing. I am a bit scared though and this video is giving sooo much useful information. Thank you!
For the tax rate , Australia has a progressive tax rate. 19% on the first $18,201 - $45,000 32.5% on the next 45,001 - $120,000 37% on the next $120,001 - $180,000 And so on So it’s not a like huge chunk or percentage will be collected from your gross , it’s marginal tax rate. To understand how the marginal tax rate works, let's consider a hypothetical tax system with three tax brackets: Bracket 1: Income up to $50,000 is taxed at a rate of 10%. Bracket 2: Income between $50,001 and $100,000 is taxed at a rate of 20%. Bracket 3: Income above $100,000 is taxed at a rate of 30%. In this scenario, if you earn $60,000, the marginal tax rate would be 20%. This means that the additional $10,000 you earn (the amount that exceeds the upper limit of the first bracket) is subject to a 20% tax rate. The remaining income within the first bracket is still taxed at 10%.
Australia has a salary package and an excellent supernuation benefit. Australia beats Canada and the UK combined. I have lived in Canada and currently in Australia. Telling you from experience. You can save more money here than in Canada and the UK.
16:50 I wonder weather those Kiwis really were being honest with you. So many New Zealanders, and people who were recruited to work in NZ, move to Australia each year for better lifestyle and career options, that Kiwis can be a bit sensitive. About 15% of New Zealand citizens live in Australia, including a large proportion of Maoris.
Deo when will my gace glow like yoirs? Lemme goan reapply my suncreen 😂. I'm not a nurse but I am enjoying this video at 3:23 minutes in cause I love Aussie too 😊
