This is a famous French song, Je suis malade. (I'm sick) The original singer is Serge Lama. However, Forestella sang this song as an homage for Lara Fabian's version. It notes in the lyrics with terms in feminine form (orpheline, heureuse). But Serge Lama posted his praises about this stage on his official SNS. (Twitter, IG, FB).
Forestella released their Korean version of this song in their 3rd album: the Forestella. 눈물 속에 홀로 (Alone in Tears) has lyrics in Korean. Even the words in the lyrics were changed a lot from the original Je suis malade, you can feel the deep emotions and vibes of the original in it if you try to listen. One of the members of Forestella (Bae DooHoon) contributed in writing some lyrics in Korean as well.

The first singer, the bass Ko Woo Rim, was not physically present for The Piano Man. Forestella is currently performing as a trio as Woo Rim is serving his compulsory 18 months in the military. However his pre-recorded voice was used in the latter part of The Piano Man.
All four singers performed in Bohemian Rhapsody.
The opening singer in The Piano Man was their baritone/tenor Bae Doo Hoon. He is the second singer in Je Suis Malade. Huge range, as has all the Forestella members. He is a former actor/theatre performer (corrected to current performer, see comment below by a very well informed fan).
Finally, the most famous version of Je Suis Malade is Lara Fabian's. It is also excellent and does have captions. I prefer Forestella's version because of their stunning harmonies, but that's only personal preference. The quality of her version, and of her voice and acting, is outstanding. Well worth a reaction and you could broaden your subscribers too.

Katherine, I loved all you said, except about Doohoon. Kindly adjust your comment asserting that 🎭 Bae Doohoon is a ‘former actor/musical theatre performer’. Nothing could be further from the truth. Doohoon is very much an ACTIVE Musical Theatre actor still today, signed under Blue Stage for 11 years since his debut in 2013🎉 Many Forestella and Doohoon fans who regularly support him at his MUSICAL performances are witnesses to this.(shout out to all those wonderful fans who keep us updated 🙋🏻‍♀️) He always has been active in that career alongside Forestella commitments, except for a necessary deferral in his early days with Forestella , when they were establishing the group….BUT he definitely resumed his musical theatre activity and …it’s been his main solo activity outside Forestella ever since. There is even a video of Forestella at one of their earlier fan-meetings during a hilarious lie-detector test, asking Doohoon which one he prefers…Forestella or Musical Theatre😅….Comedy ensued when Doohoon’s answer “Forestella” was refuted by the machine😂. Another time Woorim, MinGyu and HyungHo were discussing their first time seeing Doohoon perform in a musical: Vincent Van Gogh…at that time he starred in the principal role of Vincent himself and how impressed but also concerned they were at how immersed Doohoon became in the role. Woorim even went back for a second time to watch the performance again, because he was becoming interested in acting. Doohoon was encouraging him. (There are translated videos on you tube) . It takes Doohoon months of commitment: from casting, to preparation, to script read-through, to rehearsals and promotional shoots etc to finally arrive at opening day months later, followed by the approx. 3 month/90 day run of most of the musicals. ALL OF THIS WHILE FULFILLING HIS FORESTELLA & other COMMITMENTS which also require months of planning, rehearsing, even choreography at times for eg. concerts like The Illusionist, also learning scripts for fan-meeting concerts like FNL, KBS Immortal Song 2 King of Kings celebratory performance of Piano Man,+ the Apocalypse recording, release and performance of the 2 latter songs on KBS OPEN CONCERT celebrating their 7th Anniversary of their win of the Phantom Singer 2 season in 2017. Right this very minute, he is starring in the musical ‘TICK, TICK, BOOM!’ playing the principal role of Jonathan Larson, the composer of the musical RENT, in which Doohoon also had the principal role of Mark…(Nov ‘23 to Feb ‘24!) His current run of TICK , TICK, BOOM! is from November 2024 to February 2025. In between all of that, he has the Forestella Illusionist concert part 2 on 28 & 29th December as well! And who knows what else🫣. I honestly do not know where this amazing artist, now 38 and hyung to the other 3, gets the energy or the time to do half the things he does…because sometimes he even has to perform twice in a day for the musicals.🙇‍♀️ In addition, he also released a K-drama OST, Dear about 2 months ago as well as an official M/V under Blue Stage; Loving You Keeps Me Alive from DRACULA: The Musical, followed by his Fan concert under Blue Stage a few weeks ago. 🎉 Please update your information, to reflect that he is indeed an ACTIVE Actor & Performer in MUSICAL THEATRE. 🎭 His ongoing musical theatre training and experience has allowed him to contribute greatly towards their epic LIVE stage movement etc…like Bad Romance with HyungHo , Exo’s Mama with Woorim …it’s why he doesn’t do a solo concert circuit etc. like HyungHo’s PITTA concert tours or even Mingyu’s Mono Drama concerts which have generated so much music video content …rather, in between his 2 main music careers, he shares the stage at festivals and other musical theatre themed concerts and events with his musical theatre peers and other music colleagues.

Thank you again for your reaction to another masterpiece of art from Forestella. Not only did they sing it outstandingly, but they performed the song telling the story and touching the audience's heartstrings.
The song's different sections, the introduction, the different parts that each singer performs, the crescendos, the a cappella section, and the ending demonstrate a well-planned arrangement. They ingeniously used all the vocal resources to achieve perfect synchronicity and harmonies. Each member has a strong sense of cooperation with the other group members which creates a beautiful, delicate, and precise synchronicity of the voices.
