Trigonometry on Khan Academy: Big, fancy word, right? Don't be fooled. Looking at the prefix, tri-, you could probably assume that trigonometry ("trig" as it's sometimes called) has something to do with triangles. You would be right! Trig is the study of the properties of triangles. Why is it important? It's used in measuring precise distances, particularly in industries like satellite systems and sciences like astronomy. It's not only space, however. Trig is present in architecture and music, too. Now you may wonder...how is knowing the measurement and properties of triangles relevant to music?? THAT is a great question. Maybe you'll learn the answer from us in these tutorials!
About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

I made some quick conversion formulas after watching, in case anybody finds them helpful:
    Degrees to radians:
    deg * π / 180 = rad
    Radians to degrees:
    rad * 180 / π = deg

Quick mechanical tip: to convert any angle from degrees to radians, divide that angle by 180. You will get a fraction, now write pi next to whatever number is in the numerator and boom, there is your angle in pi radians. And if you have 1 in the numerator, change it to pi. For example, if you need to convert 450° degrees to pi radians, divide 450/180, you will get 5/2. Now write pi next to 5 in the numerator, and there is your answer. And if you need to convert 30° to pi radians, do the same, you will get 1/6, and just substitute that 1 with pi. The best thing about this method is that it requires no thinking and is extremely fast. I still recommend taking the time to understand how the conversion works, but once you've done that, this method will save you a lot of time, as it works for any angle, not just the common ones.

I have a question, when simplifying it, how do we figure out what number we divide the numerator and denominator by to get it in a simpler form? like with 150 degrees, how did you know you had to divide them by 30 to get 5pi/6?

Just multiply the angle in degrees with π/180
    For example :
    30° × π /180 = π/ 6
    Saved your 6 minutes

To convert radians to degrees make sure your pi cancels out so radians to degrees is 180/pi and vice versa

Well, in reality, you can't really have a negative measurement. Like you can't have a negative mass. That's representable in reality. But is possible only in math, and logic, and mysterious minds. There only exist. This is not a reality problem. Is a imaginary problem.
