I don't have a video on it, but just manually input the stuff that's in the video (so when it asks for bed size, use the size in the video, etc.) and then once it's added, just specify the port it's connected to (if it shows multiple COM ports then just try each one until you find it, no harm in choosing the wrong one.)

@@CreatedWorkshop Thanks, I figure it would be something like that. I was having issues, because I had it 75% of the way. Fearing pushing the 100%, but I can remember not to do that. Again Thanks for your time

I’m having framing issues and the material test is engraving in reverse. The framing is just all over the place and not where I have the image. Any ideas on both of these issues?
For material test, it goes based off of where you have your origin set. So, if your origin is set to "absolute position" it'll place the test in the middle of your bed. If you have it set to user origin, and so on. For the engraving in reverse, that's very odd. Could you send me a picture on Instagram (or email it to me patrick @ created workshop (dot) com)
That's controlled by your origin point. There's three options: absolute position (where you place it on the workspace is where it'll work), user origin (move the head to a place and set user origin), or current position (wherever the laser is that's where it starts). Then, right around that selection is the actual job origin point. This is where you choose like top left, center, etc.
And if it doesn't find the board. I just installed a monport and it doesn't show up in lightburn, but will "connect" but frezzes out when "homing" (no stepper movement. But on LASERGRBL it works fine
The K40 is actually on loan to another maker that’s not super far from me, and when I visit the shop next I plan to take some footage of how the Z table is connected.
Do younhave a video on how to manually set it up.. if lightburn doesn't dectect it?
exactly what i came here for..

Thanks this helps, questions did you adjusted the amp meter knob? Thanks

Subbed good vid will be rewatching seval more times
What shall I do if Lightburn refuses to see my Monport 40W Pro? It just doesn't see the device
Are you doing manual setup or the "Find Device" function? And, have you installed the CH340 driver?
@@CreatedWorkshop I have turned everything on and off in different suequnces and eventually my computer saw it ✅
can you please do a video how to install the z bed
That video is in the plans!

how do I know where the laser will start prinint, or how do I tell it where to start printing.

Are you using the factory card or Cohesion 3D?

That’s a very odd issue! I’ve not run into it before. Your best chance is to contact Monport directly

can you please tell me how you connect the z table please so I can connect mine
