Do become freelance editor do I have to learn only premiere pro or can I manage with capcut and other softwares?
@@flickhunter8900did you ever get a answer?
@@chchapma what do u mean?
I have so much video editing knowledge and photoshop knowledge and I do nothing with it and I want to change that now thank you for the video 😂
Bro where you learn it bro
@@dwarakeshkotipatruni6578 I took classes in highschool and then just did small stuff for 4 years 😭
@@nergxl3gacy ooh nice will you prefere a website for davinci resolve
@@dwarakeshkotipatruni6578 personally I use photoshop and stuff cuz that’s just what I learned.
@@nergxl3gacy can you teach me
Resolve literally unlocks another world for cinematic things..... everything about color grade can be customised with it . Also it's really good for virtual effects or basics edits as well..🙃(And this thing is totally free)
@@monstercertified there are tons of them
@@DedaOG tell me the best ones please
@@dwarakeshkotipatruni6578 I recommend learning the basics on a Free simple editor like hitfilm. After you know the basics which is almost the same in every video editor, you can go give Resolve a try. I say this because Davinchi Resolve can be very overwhelming when you don’t know anything about video editing.
@@fledits TQ bro
It's free until you realize how good the studio version is :P
This is really insightful not only for video editors but literally anyone trying to sell a skill set! Great video!
I used to make YT vids when I was in HS and would edit my own videos and I absolutely loved it. I really want to learn video editing from a professional stand point
I love it when you explain things. The tempo is great. With others I cannot really comprehend what they were saying, either they talk too fast or there were so many jargons. Excellent work!
I am a Designer, trying to get into Video Editing. Still at the first part of the video but based on what I've watched so far I'm pretty sure this is going to help me a lot. Earned a SUB
I been doing editing for five years and I’m getting serious about my craft. Right now, Davinci Resolve is my favorite editing software right now. Thank you for the informative video.
how much money do you make and how do you find clients
Definitely what I'm looking for. I've been editing for years now and I'm confident in my abilities, just need someone to work for now
Thank you, for someone who have never done anything like this, it's a refreshing gulp of air
Great advice about finding a niche, just like starting a UA-cam channel it can’t be for everyone. We all know who we get along with and who we click with, those are going to be our best clients. We’ll hear 99 no’s before we get a yes, just have to keep trying.
You sir got a new subscriber! I’ve been doing video editing here and there and just yesterday put out an add for friends on fb, to get some experience to work on anything really and for free. Got first 4 projects, going to work on them this weekend! Being FT in sales I can totally agree with you on all the outreach and business points. That’s my next stage after finishing these 4 projects for free. In life selling is everything, we are all salesmen, aren’t we?
What kind of salesmen are you bro
You are an excellent business coach. Important things to deal with are customer acquisition and service packaging.
I appreciate that!
Video editing is the art of weaving stories with pixels, shaping emotions with frames, and giving voice to the unseen.
Loads of super great and useful tips.. thanks for going in depth on this one 👌
You did amazing on this video, I’m very impressed! God bless you and have an amazing afternoon! I’m inspired to get very good at editing.
Thanks alot for these tips brother.
I am almost full-time editing on Premiere Pro and After Effects(making all sorts of montages and rotoscopes), and even making logos and thumbnails on photoshop but I dont quite know how to approach clients, even though I know I can edit anything my client will require.
The tips for outreach really helped me, hopefully I can get some clients in the future
Great to hear!
Hey, let's work together. Can you send me some of your work ? Where can I contact you ?
@@Zuii3 yes sure brother, I will show you all of my work. can you give me your discord id?
@@johubify What's your discord ID ? I don't see any request
@@Zuii3 I love this, keep it up fellas 🙌
This has been really motivating, thank you.
Thank you so much. I am planning to switch a niche from graphic designing to video editing. This is very helpful.
Thank you for this tips Vince, I'm already a fulltime editor but for a business that is paying me shit, so I'll try my best to become freelance.
Thank you so much Vince I really benefit a lot from your video.

I admire your editing skill so much 🙏🏾

That´s quite inspiring. Thank you :)
useful 12.5ins on becoming a video editor (frequently in demand) and handy to have more than one editor sometimes.
Thanks this has really given a guide on where to get started with my video editing and how eventually to turn it into a profitable business I am currently only 13 but want to start learning video editing as a career
Of course you are the best editor,I'm from West Africa will definitely love to learn how to edit videos
this is the year i will try my best to make this possible
What a great example of a young man with very bright future. Very good advice, nothing is achieved without discipline, great video!
Wow really great video. I starting a class to learn Final Cut cause I wanted to learn to edit. Great to see this could actually learn to a career change. Subscribed
Thanks, a lot, I wanted to know how to start, and your video you just gave me all the information that I need
I'm thinking about creating an agency after. I hope to learn more from your videos
Glad it was helpful!
Such helpful advice on prospecting for clients. Thanks so much! Do you do one on one coaching calls?
Please make a video on - how to get clients for video editing? that would be great
I work as a full-time video editor for an entrepreneur content creator. I edit 20-25 short form videos a month and get paid $1,000/mo.
Get that money up bro. That's less than minimum wage. You're worth more than that
@@Clvrkz Actually, it's the highest salary I could get. Some clients only pay me $5-$10 per video.
Where you find clients bro?
If you learn to edit even faster and find 2 more clients, you could go up to 3k a month
What program do you use? I use davinci and want to become oen as well. IV learned all the basic stuff and a little bit more advanced fusion edits but I'm still confused on what exactly I need to be able to do edit wise to become a freelancer.
great motivation, love it ! :)
Hi im Iman from morrocco i just wanted to say thank youuu so much for all what you do❤️❤️🌝🌝❤️💜
Vince, nice job. Easy decision to Subscribe. Best of luck getting to 100k and on and on. I'm a Drone pilot providing video content and video editing was a must have service to provide.
Thank You so much dude...
Thank you for this video
I‘m doing video and photo editing for 8 years now and didn‘t even think of doing that as a freelancer. Need to get myself market now

I have just started to take it seriously. Did my portfolio on channel wish me 🍀 for my future clients. We will make it people. Hard work pays off!
I just got certified in premiere pro and photoshop. Now I’m working on learning after effects. I’m hoping to do something with these new skills.
Having a drone is a plus
Thank you brother
Thank you its very interesting
I’ve been making videos since I was 13. I’m 29 now. I guess it’s not too late to look at it to do it for work. I’m about to be an EMT and have a week off of work a month.
Thank you so much
Needed to hear this so much, definitely relatable as i feel i have the skills but getting clients is a problem. Outreach is something i never really dedicated time to which is weird when i look at it now as its the way to go, regarding the private paid group for getting clients, how may i contact you regarding these things? Thanks, great video.
Shoot me a message on Ig @vinceopra :) glad you liked the video
Learn sales and marketing very big requirement to get out there
Thanks bro
Hi Vince. Just found your video.

Thanks very much
Király vagy Vince ;)
This video good .thank you
found this video at the perfect time
Hello, I am in love with your videos. They are informative and provide a lot of value. Also you are gorgeous. ❤ Thanks.
AMAZING!
Thanks bro
Valuable content
Please, please, please don't offer unlimited revisions, refunds or to work for free. I can't stress this enough. Not only will it put you in a terrible position, it makes it harder for other editors to negotiate fair pay and working conditions. This is how creators and businesses take advantage of creatives.
amazing video
Good 1 bro
thankx
I am waiting ✨🤩
🙌
I am a full-time editor now.
With more than 60 fixed clients and regular 100+ videos per month my soul is absolutely ready to leave my body anytime now.😂
Bro to become video editor is it compulsory to learn premiere pro only or you can edit with other softwares like capcut or something? If only premiere pro then where to learn it fully
@@flickhunter8900 you can technically use anything you want, but higher end clients may have an NLE preference and want access to the project files throughout the editing process.
Really useful video
Thank you
can you make a playlist for those videos on learning how to edit?
I need one!
Thank you bro great video!
Glad you liked it!
@Vince Opra Where is the 30mins Video link tho 😅
My bad, updating the description now
Thank you i really want to work on editing but is there any place to find like small videos online to edit them especially that i can't film myself ( it's so much waste of time )
Very good video.
i started editing when i was 10 as well :")
Very Nice Explanation
Thanks!
How should I map myself if I want to become a good video editor from literally zero? What recommendations for day to day practice should I do to achieve it? Thanks
Thanks
I have 5 years experience in shortfilm video editing using vegas pro. Until now can't find a job😔 van someone help me please. Thank you so much
Thanks for the video! Very useful. I currently work as a full time IT Project Manager. But I am very interested in learning how to edit video and make a bit of extra cash on the side from that. And who knows, I might end up making a full career transition. Cheers!
You can easily start by learning with tutorials here on UA-cam. That's how I learned it!
very good video
Wow. Just what is needed.
I have been editing too but currently no jobs. If there is any person who is interested in giving me job, we can actually connect.
excellent
Hi, if I want to start video editing do you think Camtasia 2021 is enough at the beginning? I bought it 2 years ago and I like it, but I'm not sure is it enohg for paying gigs. Also what are the basic editing aspects that I should look up and master?
Can you give us the resources you're getting videos and effects from 💙💙
Thank you
Would it be a good idea to apply all this concepts mentioned in the video, but instead of the programs you said use DaVinci Resolve 18 free version?
