So you need a visa to visit other countries?
Hi, in certain cases and in certain countries you do need a visa. In this case to visit Bermuda we needed a heath Visa from the Bermudian Government. At the time is was $40 per person and was/is available online.
It’s so fun watching people sail out of Baltimore for the first time! It’s our home port ( we’re a half hour away) and have sailed out of there so many times, it’s like old hat to us lol Looking forward to the rest of your vlogs!

Your favorite Cherry on Top treat is the chocolate covered marshmallow. I tried them this past week on the Panorama and I loved them. They can get a tad bit messy and sticky if they get too hot but it was a nice little treat

Just heard the news that Canada was dropping all the restrictions October 1! I like the look of this ship even if it's older. Don't know if I could talk the hubby into a cooler weather itinerary. We've lived in Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin and experienced enough of "sweater weather." 🤣

Hi my friend! I decided to just grab photos of dinners going forward. It is less intrusive into our meal or to others we may be dining with. And YES! It was part of the 50th anniversary specials on the ships. There is no Cucina on board but they offered selections from the menu on certain nights. And on certain nights they had classic dishes from retired menus.. it is really a fun thing they are doing for their 50th! Hugs my friend! Thank you for always watching!

Going on this one in may. Did the celebration in Jan but wasn't impressed. I prefer the smaller ships.

I personally don’t think Bermuda or Canada will change their Covid protocol….I just got back last mon from quantum of the seas ….it was my very first cruise ever and it was overwhelming with testing and Arrivecan etc… it was too stressful to do all that for a cruise….but I did it so I could see all of the beautiful ports in Alaska but I think that’s my one and nay cruise….I do love all the camping vlogs as well so I do like to stay in the know about the channel adventures

I'm so sorry it was overwhelming for you. I can certainly understand especially being a first time cruiser. When we boarded we asked at Guest services about the next sailing to Canada and the ArriveCan app they they truly had no idea how to answer my questions. It was the very first time the ship was calling on those ports AND the first time the crew and ship were sailing the itinerary causing even more confusion. Carnival also has the VeriFly app which is confusing as it is for a cruise when many use it to fly into another country with airlines. I know it was problematic for you this last cruise but I encourage you to sail again. In the US pretesting is no longer required for most sailings, something we will try out in just a couple of weeks. It will be odd for me not to have to pre-test even though I will still test personally for my own reassurance. I am glad you enjoy the camping vlogs, I really appreciate that! Don't give up on cruising yet! Hugs!

Do you ever worry about cross-contamination with gluten foods? We are sailing soon and are worried about gluten contamination. Do you recommend we go to the MDR on the first day to select our menu items for dinner?
Hi! I always worry about cross-contamination. I do recommend on Carnival going to the dining room on embarkation day. On subsequent days of your sailing In the buffet ask for your items to come from the back - just because it says they are GF does not mean another passenger with self serve has not touched something with gluten on their plate with the serving utensil - and I have seen gluten items spilled into a GF dish. While I appreciate the GF on the buffet people don't think about it so I try and use a clean utensil to serve myself and I pull from a spot in the dish that has not been disturbed. This has worked for me for the last several sailings on various lines. Or, again I will ask and let the crew member know I have an allergy and cannot have cross-contamination. Dessert on the buffet line is tricky, if it is self serve I NEVER use the utensil given for serving myself. I get a clean fork and take a piece from the very back of the serving platter where it has not been touched by the serving utensil provided - this is not 100% guaranteed but so far has been a safe way for me. Lastly, the new kiosk for food allergies at Carnival has been problematic for me so speak up, do not go hungry! Hugs and happy cruising!

Sorry if missed! Sail two weeks from today on same cruise - what time was your arrival time? Ours is 12:30-1 and trying to figure out when to get to port!
Our time was 12:00-12:30... the port was empty when we arrived, we were about 10th in line to start embarkation and literally walked through the process and right onto the ship in about 15 minutes. I have never been though such a fast embarkation. Have a great cruise!
Are you going on the Sept. Greenland/Canada cruise?
